Environmental warrior has died. Aotearoa New Zealand is in mourning.

Environmental warrior Jeanette Fitzsimmons has passed away suddenly.

She was a leader in issues concerning the state of the planet and social justice.

Sorry for minimal content but I am deeply mourning as she was whanau family.

I have been reading up on this person.
A lot of common sense and was very informed on topics.
But , what I admire most was this environmentalist was willing to find great compromises .

Tributes have been flowing for the former Greens co-leader Jeanette Fitzsimons, who died suddenly last night aged 75. Ms Fitzsimons was hospitalised yesterday after falling while out working on the farm. Her husband Harry Parke says she then suffered a stroke and died shortly before 10pm. She is being remembered as a tireless activist, a steward of New Zealand's green movement... a woman with unwavering convictions, and who treated everyone with dignity, no matter their politics.
