I ran across a Rasmussen poll a couple days ago and the data surprised me. We’ve seen a lot of polls claiming Trump loses to every Democratic candidate.

But these numbers should be a punch in the gut to Bernie supporters.

It seems like all Democrats aren’t ready for socialism.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds Trump earning 50% support among Likely U.S. Voters to Sanders’ 43%. Seven percent (7%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
The incumbent president wins 84% of the Republican vote and leads 49% to 39% among voters not affiliated with either major party. Sanders captures 75% of Democrats, but nearly one-in-four Democratic voters (22%) opt for Trump instead.

One in four Democrats won’t vote for for Bernie and 22% of those would vote trump.

Snip

Trump has a double-digit lead over Sanders among men, but the two are tied among women voters. The president leads among voters in all age groups.
Sanders picks up 60% of blacks. Trump leads among whites 54% to 39% and edges Sanders 48% to 44% among other minority voters.
Seventy-four percent (74%) of voters who share a Very Favorable opinion of socialism prefer Sanders. Among voters with a Very Unfavorable view of socialism, 88% choose Trump.

60% of black voters are for Bernie. Which means Trump has close to 40% support from blacks. That is unheard of.

Snip

But support has fallen for Medicare for all, Sanders’ centerpiece issue, as opponents detail the staggering likely cost to taxpayers. Few voters are willing to spend much, if anything, to make Medicare for all a reality

It looks like the goose that laid the golden egg. Is starting to move off its nest.

Every conservative should get out there and start campaigning for Bernie.

That’s our guy!

Can you say landslide?

Almost forgot this

Ummm, okay...i get the enthusiasm, BUT, 60%percent of black votes does NOT mean the rest are for Trump. Thst could be split up a thousand ways. Just sayin.

But yeah, peeps want socialism need to move to venezuela. We didnt dump a bunch of tea in the ocean to go and suck up to poor and lazy people.

I will--in the primary. It's the smartest move. Get Bernie the nomination. He'll get less than McGovern did.

Medicare for all would be a complete and total disaster. But, the fraudster politicians would love it. Slush Fund extraordinaire!

If you go on the Justice Department's news page, you will find that over the years there have been literally hundreds if not thousands of Medicare Fraud cases where thousands to millions to tens of millions of dollars have been ripped off from taxpayers.

There are too many opportunities to scam We The People and we all know Government Bureaucracies are too bloated and generally inefficient to prevent it.

People like Bernie solve these issues by taxing me and you more and more, and then expect us to lick their boot because of "free" (hahahah) healthcare. No...Medicare is NOT free.

I recognize that fact. I guess I worded that badly .

But even if they just sit out and don’t vote for Bernie it’s pretty much the same .?

One number I saw recently was the 88% of blacks voted for Hillary in 2016 .

That’s quite a difference .

another thing that surprised me was his numbers with independents .

You do realize that was tongue-in-cheek don’t you ?

Well kind of anyway.

If I could vote Democratic in the primaries and Republican and a GE.

I probably would .

When Americans figure out that their taxes will increase by 40% under Bernie Sanders, he will plummet like a rock.

Dumping tea into the ocean is a very socialist move, considering it was a protest against the east india company. A massive corporate arm of a monarch.

It was a protest against taxes placed on tea, not the tea itself, nor the corporation that provided it. To call that "socialist" strikes me as rather strange.

It was the straw that broke the camels back.

The east india company was incorporating additional taxes ontop of the already existing taxes.

You have to remember, the east india company was basically it's own entity tied to the british empire, it had it's own army, money, etc. Its what happens when you let a company become too big. It's one of the main reasons why the monarch let them do what they wanted, they were too big to fail.

I said pass the bottle, not keep drinking. It's Trump or the end of America as we know it. Simple answer as far as I am concerned.

A socialist move would have been to give all the tea to poor people tl allegedly set up tea businesses to sell to rich folk.

But then tax said poor people for capital gains and blame.it on the opposition.

According to the numbers in the poll.

If we helped Bernie win the nomination the results of the GE would be Trump as president .,

Rap I just said that . Lol

I believe it. I was out with some friends last night (tacos!) and they started in about Bloomers. Well, me being me, I couldn't resist so I started playing devil's advocate. Man, they really weren't feelin' the bern.

Good times

So 3 out of 4 would. And 88% wouldn’t vote for Trump.

Funny what a changing of wording can do.

Didn't you hear? Rasmussen is now a "right-wing" organization, because liberals don't like their polls anymore.

Well luckily Bernie isn't anywhere near being a socialist... both in practice or "admitted". Seems to be doing capitalism pretty well these days if the his last book is any measure.
