Report: 7 dead, including shooter, in attack near Milwaukee Molson Coors campus

Several local news outlets are reporting fatalities at the Molson Coors complex in Milwaukee following a "critical incident" on Wednesday afternoon.

Later on in the article it does say that the ATF is involved but they keep using the "critical incident" wording.

Eta: many businesses in the area are still on lockdown status, including Harley Davidson.

Several schools are nearby, most ended at 3pm and bussed the kids home. Marquette is on lockdown.

Not much info, unfortunately. Reminds me of an incident where I work and brushed shoulders with an active shooter. I filed a report and got in trouble for not clocking out for a cigarette break.

I'm local, so I've been following FB posts. This is what's being reported:

Shooter is a former employee and died from self inflicted GSW.

Eta: 6 to 7 injuries, NOT fatalities

35 were shot and killed in Chicago this month alone.

This Coors distribution facility though...bloody freakin outrage. How did this happen? What could have been done? Was it an assault rifle? If so how do we ban them..the horror.

They should've just poured him a drink. Stingy a-holes could've easily prevented this.

From Dan O'Donnell BREAKING: We can now confirm that seven people (including the gunman) have been killed in a mass shooting in a packaging facility on the Molson Coors campus in Milwaukee this afternoon.

Sources tell me that the gunman was fired from Molson Coors this afternoon and returned with a .45 caliber handgun and opened fire, killing six people before turning the gun on himself.

The inability to properly handle failure seems to be growing as generations develop.

Why can't we bury this shooting. 63 shot and killed in Chicago this year. Chicago shootings never make the news. Totally shielded from reporting. We need to do a better job of covering it all up like Chicago.
