Bob Iger OUT As Disney CEO

Welp, the title says it all. Bob Chapek is replacing Bob Iger as CEO of Disney according to a tweet by CNBC now.

It's been an interesting tenor for sure as Bob Iger took over Disney. He recently came out with a book stating that he broke a deal with George Lucas to remain true to the spirit and story of Star Wars.

Of course not saying that is why he is out as Disney CEO. Wondering if this will have any effect on the course of Star Wars, and what effect it will have on a lot of the other holdings they have.

He is taking his payout and moving to China. Probably to work closely with the CCP in developing a whole new form of entertainment designed to turn all human beings into mindless drones.

Either that or the devil has finally called him home to oversee the lowest level of hell.

Didn't they already do that? Pretty sure the little bit of the new ones I've watched was literally a remake of the original with trans and minority characters. I might be wrong though I fell asleep about a half hour in.

Personally, I just want them to make some hand drawn cartoons again. I miss those, I'm sick of CG movies and cartoons. I want to see real artwork again.

Ever since they started serving 32oz beers in my local theatre, it's been my favorite nap spot. Expensive, but I can wake up to buttery popcorn.

No, they own the FOX Film Studio (20th/21st Century), not the network.
