By all means then, fill your larder with perishables. I'm sure you'll be perfectly fine.

This seems to be a glass half empty kind of group.
Just saying.

Wishing you all the best.

I honestly do not think this is going to be some mass killer.

Think positive people.

I agree, what I find more concerning is the potential for a major disruption in supplies.

Hungry desperate people will be the issue.

Currently, I don't think many people are thinking that far ahead . I am though.

I think you're right about that, our convenient system is far more fragile than most people want to contemplate.

Im in South Florida and have made two consecutive trips to Same Club. Yesterday nothing going on plenty of everything. Today at 4pm as Im walking in I asked the Sams Club lady if it has been busier then normal. She said "It has been very busy for a Tuesday" Still plenty of everything.

On side note in the last two days I have dropped $500 between cleaning supplies and bulk food items.

When I heard the CDC report I reacted and will continue to until I feel I have enough. Frustrating part is what is enough?

I just don't want to the bomb drop in my area and everyone starts freaking out. Dont want to be in that mix!

There are signs that things in Hubei is leveling off.

So it's been about two months there. We're going for at least two months of supplies and hoping we don't need them.

Was getting ready for work tonight and saw this..(can't post photo from phone.) they said [news: TYT] still no worse then cold and then proceeded to say CDC warns up to 40-60% of Americans will get this in a worst case scenario. They better hope they're right on their threat assessment..

Also, i made a post about all the miltary vehicles being loaded on trains by semi truck here in Port Arthur TX, that continues. I have more photos of that as well. I'll post again when I have computer access. Stay safe..

I don’t think the bomb going off per se, until when and if a positive case happens in your town city or neighboring town, then it will prob. Happen, at least according to the reports on social media in northern Italy and South Korea.

SARS-cov-2 vaccine is ready for human trials in the U.S.

That's great, but bearing in mind.....

"Drug Approvals - From Invention to Market ... A 12- Year Trip."

So even if this does actually work, and is fast tracked, it's still going to be a couple of years.

Linky

Trump made major changes to the old approval process in pursuit of dramatically shortening the window - and for this he said he would push it through asap. So no, not years.

That said, I sure won't be lining up for it. I'll just be making sure my folks are OK.

OMG we forgot the animals lol! So they’re next then. I don’t think it’s going to turn into road warrior but I could see rationing or restricting movement for a minute.

I don’t think anything crazy infrastructure wise will happen just major inconvenience problems we’re not used to in an instant gratification society.

We’ve been buying canned goods, easy stuff to make in water, cases of water, non perishables, and other supplies. Nothing crazy, just like 50-100 dollars a week for the past few weeks and throwing it in the basement.

Topped off heating oil, paid all bills one month ahead. Sitting on our nice tax return from my boss to give us another month or two before dipping into savings, paid off most credit cards and cashed in on a few grand in cash back awards. Most likely my employer will pay me if we’re forced to stay home but you never know. If the Guard calls then that’s another paycheck. I don’t care about getting the disease, I just want the kids to be safe.

Most people won’t care until they see people dropping and getting sick. Then it’s too late.

Hi You are one of the few I pay most attention to. Based on your best guess for America when is the SHTF timeframe in your opinion?

I don’t see anything coming we can’t handle yet, just delays and annoyances with crowded healthcare facilities. We did just fine during the swine flu and that was like a billion and a half people.

I’m most worried about when China returns to work and
a second wave starts. I don’t know, this whole thing for some reason just doesn’t sit right but it could be because I’m way more familiar with the related knowledge than I was a decade ago.

That is definitely something I've got on my to-do list for this week. My kids each have a dwarf rabbit, Jersey Woolies. They don't eat a huge amount per day, so we usually buy large bags of hay for them, each last about a week and a half. I think I'm going to grab a whole hay bale and a bin for it this weekend from the feed store. If nothing happens, we have hay for them for a few months and have actually saved some money (a bale costs about as much as 2 bags, but has at least 10 bags worth). I don't really have an alternative to the hay for them since it's Alaskan winter and we've got a couple feet of snow over the lawn. They also eat 2 large leaves of romaine lettuce each per day, but they can get by without that whereas the hay is their primary source of nutrients.

Thanks to you and Kets for the reminder.

I know this was posted before but has everyone had a look at it?

archive.4plebs.org...

The message was posted 31st Jan and a lot it rings true now - especially italy.

Remember, the most optimistic prediction at this point is 60,000 people are going to get killed in the next few months. It's highly infectious with an R6, probable chance of further mutations, infectious during the prodromal phase, and it's airborne. The only reason you're not already seeing thousands of people confirmed outside of China yet is because the incubation period but believe me the WHO is already talking about how "problematic" modeling the Chinese response in Western countries is going to be, and the first country they want to try it out in is Italy. If it begins a large outbreak in a major Italian city they want to work through the Italian authorities and world health organizations to begin locking down Italian cities in a vain attempt to slow down the spread at least until they can develop and distribute vaccines, which btw is where you need to start investing.

The not just bad but scary case scenario is that they fail to contain it and that it also mutates in South America. This is going to be far, far worse than the Spanish flu if that happens and it's going to completely crash the global economy. This is concerned by world health authorities to be "only" 20.6-7% probable of happening however so as far as they're concerned they're taking it one step at a time not to start a panic, but it is estimated a one in five chance of over a hundred million people dying in the next year. Redfield is aware of this along with some other top American CDC staff and triaging the situation the situation according to that logic. Ask Kyle about this when you've got a chance. European health authorities do not seem fully debriefed on all this yet but WHO as far as I'm aware is where the numbers themselves mostly originated along with the models.

But with that being said there's no stopping what's about to happen to the markets now and the only thing stopping it is by everybody like me telling the truth to our investors and then lying our pants off in public to everybody as we're trying to prevent a full scale panic as everyone understands the gravity of the situation and starts a mass sell off all at once, so it's become a me and mine mentality of a lot of people to advise your clients accordingly and pull the # out and into everything else even memecoin, gold, and government bonds before everybody else figures out what's happening because hey, if you're in a crowded concert and a fire is starting it makes more sense to quietly exit the building before anyone knows what's going on then shout fire and get trampled under the stamped right?

Just be aware of the key thing: Brazilian and other South American cities. If it spreads there too badly and they can't be contained then we're all #ed. Even without that happening tens of millions of people are probably about to be infected, and possibly even hundreds of millions within the next year or two.

This was written ages ago now and it's scary how much of it has come true.

And now a case in South America according to BNO

The cats are our big one.

The snake will be able to fast for a couple months if he has to. He's well fed and has fat reserves.

I have a gel food for the fish that will make plenty for them with a little water added. If the power stays on and I can keep it chilled, they're good to go for a while, but if the power goes, food will be the least of their worries.

We can easily get a couple big bags of cheaper kibble, and a bag or two of premium and just measure out daily portions according to weight. It won't be as rich as they're used to, but they'll cope. The cat litter issues will be bigger. Three cats go through a lot of it.

My 5 year old has a fever and a cough, again.

I stopped by Walmart on lunch and got a little supply of children's tylenol and ibuprofen, along with some dayquil and nyquil pack. Picked up some gloves, I use them for mechanical purposes also. Nothing too extreme. But I do want to have a little extra.

Wife is at the store right now getting a few more things. Things we will use if nothing happens. And some extra water.

I feel like I maybe coming down with something also.

Damnit, I hate flu season.

Schools are like a festering playground for viruses.

Thank you everybody for the updates. When I am at work it is hard to stay on. I can get small bursts of ATS but nothing prolonged.

Keep up the good work.

It’s funny how we forget simple things even when trying to prepare for a few weeks of the worst. Imagine forgetting everything and then freaking out and trying to find stuff if there ever was a problem. I love rabbits, we use New Zealand’s in research. We had one we named “Woman” and she knew how to open cages. She was viscious, some researchers aren’t too nice, the worst feeling in the world was seeing her cage door open and the whole room just empty and quiet.....because she was lying in wait.

At home we just have a black lab and a cat now, we used to have more but the cats were getting old. My son with epilepsy will be tough, he needs meds, only eats certain foods, if he has an event will an ambulance be available. Crazy to think about.

My interest in this virus is far beyond what we have discussed in the 3 threads. When I first got involved, the classified documents I was shown talked numerous times about kidney failure as a late stage symptom of the virus. As someone with only one kidney, my interest levels went sky high at that point. Thanks again everyone for the discussion so far.

It is so good to "see" you again, TD.

Thank you for donating a kidney.

Hi You are one of the few I pay most attention to. Based on your best guess for America when is the SHTF timeframe in

your opinion?

I mentioned (if you like my opinion) Japan was 2 weeks always behind China and many other Asian countries also.(but I don't know , just my guess due to the friends I have outside Japan)
America is a country you can't pinpoint a time frame when things will get out of control, due to its starts at a small spiral then it spirals out of control. An ex. of this is here this morning in this country. This morning mask became available at drugstores in Tokyo, long lines started forming up, what happens next, gangs or thugs just started cutting in, what they didn't realize is they would be taken down easily by angry crowds and possible kicked to death. This was on the morning talk show. So it just shows you how animalistic people can be toward one another. Now with America, I've stated on my threads from looking also at the outside how many days America would be 30 days behind China. If we take Jan. 28 as a starting point (which is when it became apparent something is wrong) today is Feb. 26 Wednesday. So the timing of CDC special announce and my calculation is pretty much spot on. No one can look into the future and say what will happen, I was looking only at a possible insight based on the events happening in China that were recorded on my threads. They were public facts (maybe if we believe China), but the Japanese facts I posted so far as insight goes, I don't think other then ... person would disagree on what now is taking place here. Not far off from the truth.
Again, America, I posted is 30 days away from the events happening in China. My time zone insight if it is true, must be very near then.
My suggestion, stock them cupboards as soon as possible. Today we again are going shopping, but this time it is to be prepared in case our section of town gets quarantine, which I don't hope happens.
