Harry and Megan join the movers and shakers.

Have been reading about Harry and Megans first solo commission for which it

is reported that they were paid around $1 million, It was an event held by

J.P. Morgan the US banking giant that has been embroiled in successions of

controversies. It was one of the group of American investment banks blamed

for triggering the financial crises of a decade ago, since when they have paid

out mega bucks for losses and discrepancies.

I was drawn into the article by the infamous names involved in the article......

Financier Jeffry Epstein who was a friend of Prince Andrew and
he remained a client because his connections made him of .value to J.P.Morgan.
Epstein was credited to have arranged introductions for one of his contacts
Jes Staley who later became chief ex. of Barclays bank G.B.

Among J.P Morgans other clients of note is Bernie Madoff the fraudster
behind the biggest ponzi scheme in history.
At the head of the bank is Jamie Dimon, his tight grip on J.P.Morgan has not
stopped the bank coughing up more than $31 billion in regulatory fines since 2008
for offences ranging from manipulating energy markets to accusations of racial
discrimination

I wonder how that sits with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex who have called

out the British press for being racist.

In January 2017 J.P.Morgan agreed a $55 million settlement over
allegations that it charged black and Hispanic mortgage borrowers
higher rates than its white customers.

Again is that racial discrimination being overlooked by the Duke and Duchess

of Sussex? Or is it OK because of the contacts and the cash? What price the

soul?

And would J P Morgan find their credentials of value if they were plain Mr and

Mrs Wales instead of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex

What? The 'racism' thing?

I'll tell you something that might not be popular, they probably charged those customers more because they were more likely to default and not because of the melanin content of their skin. Part of the reason we ended up in the banking fiasco was the government forced lenders to give money to people they knew had a higher percentage to default.

Other than that, who cares how people earn their money legally.

Don't care what they do with their time, if they want to make fat stacks from some bank that's their call. You seem to have some sort of personal animus towards this and are a bit emotionally invested in what two people you don't know do with their time.

I wasn't thinking along the lines of J P Morgan being racist. I was thinking that some people who would say JP MORGAN are racists yet accuse critics of the Duchess of being racist need to figure out which way this bat swings.

I've seen some of the things they said about her and their kid and they were pretty messed up, she has a legitimate point.

and Megan themselves accusing the people and the press and the Royal

They are either living luxuriously off the Royal coffers,
or if they try to earn their own money they are working for suspicious entities.
