& the 2 stories... about the items used for ritual.

I wonder why the skull ballet box was being sold, maybe they got a new one ?

Also the ritual regarding the Toadman taming horses. This is the type of stuff I like reading or learning about. I wonder if it actually worked and why it would work. I'd love to hear an account where it works.

I wonder if Toad magic exists because toads if stressed produce a psychedelic substance out of their skin, cane toads were boiled up at one time. Kiss a frog and it turned into a prince etc.? In Mexico I think they "milk" a toad for a very intense experience. Which is being used to cure addictions with one hit.

The book looks to have been published in the early 1900's so its old but I think there are people who still do these types of rituals and I was interested in hearing about them from actual folks that do. Doesn't even need to be specific to toads.
I'd like to hear what the purpose of their magic was for and how it turned out. I realize the practices might be out dated but I think there are still folks who practice.

Hi Leolady,
The skull and bones was withdrawn from auction as there was a dispute over ownership, probably coming from the skull and bones society. It is alleged that they also dug up the the corpse of the indian chief Geronimo and the skull is in their secretive meeting place called "The Tomb".
