China silences intial concern to let it spread

China holds last meal in wuhan where 40,000 people attend on 18 January to spread it .

Those 40,000 spread further and leave wuhan for Chinese New year to meet family. Now 100,000s in China have it and it's like 24th January.

That is all going to plan. Then 100,000s of Chinese travel back overseas to get back their normal lives spreading it to every country. What would China gain?

In one week in the West, schools will be shut. Panic will empty grocery stores. Hospitals will turn people away. Looting will occur. All armies will be riddled with disease. Sure only 3% die, but the economy will crash. All Western systems will grind to a halt.

Then, boom, China start their military attack against the West.

Yeah that’s true, females have the advantage here. Female hormones are better at helping boost the immune response than male ones. You ladies also have more genetic material than us, that second x helps correct sex linked issues such as immunodeficiency. Females have secondary genetic material to fall back on, we don’t in some cases.

I don't know about that. My neurologist offers me Aimovig every year I go in, and it's monoclonal. I haven't jumped on it because I'm stable on my current regime. It's expensive, no lie, but it's also not 6 figures.

I'm curious, what is the issue you're dealing with? Is it migraines?

'Burning Bodies In Secret' - New Accounts From Wuhan Detail Coronavirus Outbreak

The New Zealand Herald has published a new report that alleges Chinese authorities have resorted to cremating bodies in secret.

DW News East Asia correspondent William Yang cited a report from Chinese-language news outlet Initium, which said cremation facilities in Wuhan, the epicenter of the deadly virus, were receiving bodies directly from hospitals without proper identification and were excluded from the official record.

A crematorium in Wuhan (note that one of the crematoriums in Wuhan) was filled with ashes, and this was just one day of a crematorium.

There are 7 crematoriums in Wuhan.

I could see them attempting to do something this stupid, but if that was their intent, it backfired quite spectacularly.

There is a tradition in China where a large scale public disaster is time for a change in government. The leadership is fighting for its survival.

Or purposely tightening its grip on a "more" controllable populace .... with propaganda - They have us now don't they ..... and the silk road initiative continues...... There is always more to the story than what the narrative directs you too IMO

It was on reddit or Twitter, the patient was on numerous drugs and it looked like he had underlying conditions that lead to fluid building up in his lungs. It looked like he was getting neb treatments, ventilators, inhalers, steroids, antivirals, fluid support and experienced severe pneumonia. I can’t remember if he had a sepsis issue with the viral pneumonia, it was going around a few days ago.

It behaves like a bad cold or viral bronchitis and moves down in vulnerable patients, that would be more annoying than anything. There’s just not much data on the normal route of infection with this thing, just the severe cases.

I was a little surprised that the numbers didn't seem to come in the same time frane last night (1/30 bet 7-10pm est usual, it was 4-6 est earlier). The majority had been in way before that. I suspect the numbers hit over 11,000 just not reported.

Since they have no space in hospitals (low release rate, low supplies) I think we can now officially say without hesitiation (also citing videos of citizens being locked in their homes, and 'voluntary' self isolations) that the numbers are not correct more of a minimum than a maximum.

That being said I really believe CCPs attempt at saving face by giving live feed coverage to hospitals being built is going to do 2 things, with high surety:

1. Hospital feeds will be suspended when hospitals are completed and ready to to take patients.
2. Numbers will soar, maxing out new hospitals quickly.

Those are my 2 'predictions' (if you will), pandemics weren't and will never be my area- I've always been more weather disaster follower.

We also noticed that the only Asian donor (male) has a much higher ACE2-expressing cell ratio than white and African American donors (2.50% vs. 0.47% of all cells).

He either had a pre-existing condition or it's a direct result of the viral infection is my understanding. I wonder what his macrophage count was.

Funy enough, I was thining about biological warfare only yesterday and maybe this is the start of WW3.

I agree, I think many of them have underlying issues and using that signal increases receptors, it’s a great evolution by the virus, not so good for us. With ACE2 in the brain, kidneys, cardiovascular and lung tissue, that’s a ton of potential for chronic conditions increasing the amount of ACE2 receptors in an unhealthy population. Virus will love that.

If this is true, it will help with a more accurate figure of fatalities. I don't know exactly how big those barrels are, at a rough guess 150 liters. When I got my fathers ashes back, it was about 2 liters in size. So 75 remains by 9 barrels is 675. I am most likely off in this estimation, but as a rough number it is something to work with.

There are also many cases going undiagnosed as well as testing kits are in short supply. It does appear that things are progressing along the expected path.

I read an article this morning saying a man was staying at a York hotel and was transported to the hospital

And witnesses claim to have seen medics in full quarantine uniform loading a man into an ambulance and taking him to a hospital in York. He was whisked into isolation from a budget hotel in the city.

I was told "it was one of the ones bening tested in York".

I wasn't aware there was more than 1 being tested there, but I was told there was 1 confirmed case.

Anyway it obviously has only just been released by the authorities - although I did say yesterday it's only a rumour, and since they still haven't said where it is in the UK what I was told yesterday still might not have been right.

It could just be a coincidence.

EDIT: I'm going to talk to the source shortly and try and get more info.
