The leftist idea of the feminist hero is creating boring movies because Rey and Captain Marvel are so over the top you never feel like they are ever challenged. They're kind of ridiculous.

I mean Luke spends pretty much all of Empire failing. When does Rey every come close?

Only when the ratings come out. But that's reality. In movie magic, she doesn't fail.

I think the guy who plays Fin came out and said he's glad Star Wars was over for him because the movies got worse and worse and Kennedy basically didn't know her ass from a hole in the ground.

My bet, it's their diet and whats in the food.

Don't forget lack of exercise. That will boost energy levels.

I felt bad for Boyega. We caved and got our son a copy of Pacific Rim Uprising, and sadly, he had much more to work with in that movie, and that movie was nowhere near good. He acted the hell out of that character though. It's too bad he didn't have the toe-hold to make Finn anywhere near that interesting.

Thanks!

It was a bit of a lifestyle change. But making those changes keeps it away.

My testosterone was checked recently and it's higher than average.

How's yours?

It seems the obvious answer is diet. Or rather all the chemicals in our food.

This would be my guess.

I'd say its probably just evolution.

The need for men to be physically strong and protective (in some cultures) - - has diminished.

Women don't need men.

Dude, knock it off. A guy could walk up to you and knock you out in one swing. Without a man by your side, you'll be robbed blind and hospitalized. But thanks for proving my point that liberalism has pushed the idea to the sheep that women don't need men. Y'all need real men, though, not soy boys you can beat up.

Where the hell do you live?

Real man?

NW Louisiana like it says under my profile picture. You women who think you can live without men love to go after those frail little skinny hipsters or the ones who go to the gym everyday but couldn't fight their way out of a wet paper sack. A man needs a woman just as bad as a woman needs a man. Both are very important, especially when it comes to raising children. But it also takes a real woman to be with a real man because they know how to compromise.

Do I look like a woman who doesn't like men (see avatar)?

I happen to be attracted to "solid on the ground" mountain men. Not skinny men.

Do women NEED a man? NO

Want is not Need.

Society/Media has been emasculating men for quite some time now. Between the 10th place trophies, helicopter parents, and them growing into a cushy paper pushing job in a cubicle... is it a conspiracy if all the factors are out in the open plain to see?

The other side of this coin is that I see a lot of men BLAMING low testosterone for being overweight, sedentary and lazy.

I've got a friend who's a 30 year old man, heavily into UFC, got those monkey faced kettlebells in his garage gym, and a user of fairly low grade steroids... he's too big of a wimp to mow his own yard in the Texas summer.

Sissy boys are everywhere, it's by design AND personal choice.

Also... we're smack dab in the good times thanks to the previous gen. Good times create soft men. Soft men create hard times. Hard times create hard men. Hard men create good times.

Generally speaking, a woman is half a human and a man is half a human. Together they become greater than the 2 halves through synergy.

Obviously, this is "generally speaking" only, as there are untold numbers of examples to the contrary. But I can tell you one thing for certain: i was a shadow of the man I am today before I met my wife. and our synergetic capability has made us quite formidable together.

as is too much masturbation.

I do that at least once a day and my testosterone is higher than average.

Low testosterone = low sex drive
Low sex drive = less masturbation

Confident fully realized people understand they are not a complete package, and it does not make them less to accept that others, even men (or women), can be more competent at things than they are.

It does not diminish me at all to realize I need my husband for some things because he makes me stronger there than I ever would have been alone. Sure I could cope on my own, but why merely cope when together we excel?

Our culture/society is changing. Needs are different.

We are, as a species, evolving. Science.

Polyamory, group families are on the rise. Which I think is more natural and healthier for children.

IMO - the single family unit has caused great harm to children. It was different "back in the day" when families tended to be generational - - and, also, lived in housing clusters as neighbors.

Need/want - - not the same thing.

As said Need/Want - - not the same thing.

IMO - - men becoming less he-man and more intellectual (no need for physical prowess) - - is science/evolution. A changing culture/society.

It's really just bad polling techniques. All the males were liberal Democrats from blue states.

Rasmussen recently did a testosterone poll of Trump voters in red states and the levels were off the charts!

If this research is true wouldn't that mean that most male posters here on ats have low testosterone levels?

Well, you know, I learned with this shoulder surgery that I don't *need* my right arm, too, but being right arm dominant, it sure does make life a helluva lot better, easier, and far more pleasant to be able to use it.

By the way, my husband was a wonderful asset during all of that too. I still can't fully wash my back, but he's very happy to help me.

I mean, we only *need* one eye, one lung, one kidney, etc., but life is better with both of them.

edit on 16-1-2020 by ketsuko because: (no reason given)
