I don't think enough people believe me, either

I'm giving up

All this is I fear one big "wild goose chase"

And I suspect I may be the victim of an elaborate joke

Round and round in circles, going nowhere

There is no way I'm ever going to get it - this secret knowledge, or whatever it is

But I still want to learn more about the human condition - but get such knowledge for its own sake

If this so-called Holy Grail is knowledge of something (which is how I understand it) then I fear it is unattainable knowledge: the more you learn the more you discover you don't know...

Lesson learnt: Perfect illumination is a path, a direction. Not a destination. It exists, but you can never get there. It is an ideal. And as you get closer to it,it moves further from you. The more you know the less you know. That is how wisdom works.

That's what I think.
