Ahh so it's okay to dehumanize, torture, opress, and encourage eacism against an entire group of people because some are supporting hamas.

And why are some supporting terrorism? Maybe it's because they can't protest without being shot. Nothing is done about the situation and peaceful protests are met with violence by israel..

Not sure how you could support israel at all... Being against israel doesn't mean your pro hamas either...

Israel guns down women and children during protests for throwing rocks at a tank. They purposely shoot protesters in the groin as directed by higher ups.

Please watch abbey martin's interviews and travel into gaza. It's eye opening once you see the interviews and hear the stories..

Hamas doesn't give israel the right to act like terrorists themselves.

Israel treats its population far differently than the Palestinian population.

Thats a proven fact if in any doubt have a look at Wikieaks. Sorry I cannot link to there site from here. I found this figure earlier for life expectancy in Palestine.

19.7 years The median age in the State of Palestine is 19.7 years.

Thats far lower than the poorest country in the world.

Happy days :-)

Women who raise those children to kill israelis. And rocks can be deadly if used correctly. And the groin shooting is so they can spay or neuter them apparently.(im joking btw)

Come on.. Not everyone is a terrorist there. Rocks can be deadly but throwing rocks at tanks isn't! Nothing gives the right for israel to treat Palestinians like jews in nazi Germany.

Israel slowly chokes them to death, shuts down peaceful protests with violence, treats them as subhuman and then act suprised when some of them turn to violence and terrorism.

I don't support violence or terrorism, but it's easy to see why people become terrorists. And israel's actions can amount to state terrorism theirselves.

Hamas regulary attacks Israeli citizens. you seem to only see one side of the conflict here is 1 year from only 1 area.

Terror from Gaza
March 2018 – August 2019
Eight killed
282 wounded
1,932 rockets/mortar bombs
841 petrol bombs
25 shootings
128 IEDs
2,155 fires ignited by arson kites/balloons (updated 2 July 2019)

the Israelis have a difficult situation If they allow open borders attacks increase killing more of their citizens like the guy that got on a school bus and stabbed kids . The problem is they provide food clothes electricity to the very group trying to kill them. Why because every other country in the region refuse to help them. Look at egypt they locked down their border because they are afraid of hamas. they provide no support or supplies to gaza even though its on their border. Egypt would simply allow them to starve ironic the one country that gives them aid is the one they attack.

If israel shut down their borders like egypt this problem would be over in a year as they would all starve to death and not have electricity and water. everything they need is provided through israel ironic that they choose to attack them.

The Pals are literally begging for an end to the Palestinian authority it's done nothing for them totally corrupt. Nevermind Christians even Muslims are begging for Israel to take back full control as they know life is better under Jerusalem's rule and can see how well their brethren are doing in Israel

Well thank god we live in a more civilized society where people can't be ghengis khaned anymore

That is true, but today the killing off of a dying civilization is just prolonged and stretched out.

The inevitable will still happen....Israel is on a fast track making break throughs in cancer research.

And the other side will still be throwing rocks.

It's very sad

Seeing as the Jewish people came in and took over the land of Palestine and oppressed the people, I was wondering if an authority on here could answer a few questions for me.
1: What were the exisiting borders of the nation of palestine prior to jewish arrival?
2: What was the official currency of palestine as a nation?
3: Who was the political head/leader/prime minister/president of the palestinian people?
4: What was the official religion of palestine?
5: What was the national anthem of palestine?
6: Who was responsible for the palestinian infrastructure?

There are gay arabs and palestinians who are free to express themselves in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv without fear of death or reprisals. There are arab politicians within the Israeli parliament. There are arab judges within the justice system. In fact, one of them sentenced former Israeli president Moshe Katsav to jail. I have personally beheld the freedoms enjoyed by palestinians within Israel, from the mountains of hermon to the negev desert in the south. These freedoms would not be possible within the territories of their surrounding brethren.
They have more freedom with social media than chinese citizens have in their own country.
The average jew and arab is getting on with life and sharing life. Jerusalem is a wonderful example of this.
Hamas and Fatah do not speak for the palestinian people.
Where is all the money that the nations of the world gave to Yasser Arafat? It aint in Gaza. It's in Switzerland.

Superbly put Lucius. Exactly how it is. Once the Persian influence and military threat from Iraq, Gaza and Lebanon / Syria is removed them s peace can be furthered as there's plenty of room in Israel for all peoples and religions.
Further to this Kochavi yesterday admitted for the first time that the Israeli air force is carrying out missions in Iraq against Iranian bases there.

It's okay to remove people from their homes if they don't have borders, an official religion, or an anthem?? Are you actually suggesting this?

I don't see where in my response I suggested that at all.
But I do see where you didn't address any of my questions.

And indigenous people were forcibly removed from the north of Cyprus by an invading party from Turkey. I'm am amazed no one is up in arms about that.

May I ask where you come from, turbonium1?

Israel has repeatedly tried to make concessions to Palestine, even up to restoring the pre war borders to almost their old lines.

The Palestinians and Hamas have refused every single time.

They want the Israelies wiped out, period.

They have refused every two state solution and resolution, so to hell with the terrorist state, they want change tell the people to remove Hamas

You're arguing for the legitimacy of Hamas, whilst actually ignoring the history of the region.

They do this intentionally, because they know their arguments are totally invalidated by actual history in the region.

Just like socialists who like to deny history, even current ongoing issues like venez, so they can promote how great socialism here.

Its cognitive dissonance to the purpose of pushing a narrative, hoping with all hope, that if they push the lies and slander against Israel enough, and stop the spread of the knowledge of the history of the area, that people will turn against them and support Palestine.

So they would rather destroy Israel, who are leading the world in Tech and Medical research to cure basically everything and save millions, and go pro suicide bomber palestenians who not only hate israel but anything western.

if the world were left up to people that think like this (gortex and others), they would destroy all of civilization inside a decade

If you read the accounts of people like Mark Twain and Herman Melville who visited palestine in the mid-late 19th century, they found nothing but a desert wasteland. Jewish emigrants who arrived in early 20th century onwards, cleared the malaria filled swamps, made the desert to come to life created an infrastructure. In the whole time that palestine was under ottoman rule, or part of trans-jordan, there was NEVER any attempt to by palestinian people create an independent state for a supposedly indigineous people with jerusalem as it's capital. For a group of people who allegedly have ties to the land going back thousands of years, I find it very odd they made no attempt to establish their own homeland in the light of British withdrawal from the mandate in 1948. Instead of making a claim for self determination, they chose to surround the jewish emigrants and attempt to wipe them from the face of the land. Please look up the 1948 war of independence to get an idea of the situation. I believe 5 surrounding arab nations attempted to wipe out a minority of zionists, socialist intellectuals and holocaust survivors.
That aspect seem to have been curiously omitted from the memories of contemporary middle east history.

Another example of anti-semetism.
BS on a meme, whilst completely ignoring the history of Arab aggression against Israel.

Here's a Nazi anti-semetic propaganda poster from WWII.

You're not the first to demonize Jewish people - unfortunately you wont be the last.
Be careful where your hatred takes you.

Another example of anti-semetism.

Another example of stretching the definition of antisemitism for your own purposes more like , it's a sad world when you can't call out the wrongdoing of politicians without being branded racist.

I see no mention of the Jewish people just a politician who deserves to be called out for the egregious acts carried out under his watch.
Oh and you should really learn to spell a word before you bandy it about without cause.

There are fair passions on this thread and many have reasonable points. What is important is to acknowledge that for most peoples and countries WW2 ended in 1945. For Israelis and this may sound crazy this people are literally still fighting WW2. The violence never ended when Berlin fell and constant trauma has existed to this very day. There has been s constant effort to destroy the people of Israel since the Nazis took power to this day. Understand that and you begin to understand the mindset in Israel
