North Pole Changes Time Zones, Keeps Drifting, May Be Early Stages Of Pole Reversal

It seems that every few years, someone on ATS writes a thread on having a strange feeling that something "big" is about to happen. There was a thread just a little over a week ago, on this subject. Well, perhaps the author of the latest thread I referenced, suffers from magnetoreception.

Magnetoreception is a sense that enables a number of animals to perceive direction, altitude, and location through the detection of a magnetic field. This particular sensory modality has been studied extensively in animals such as migratory birds and sea turtles, but the possibility that humans also possess this ability to navigate via magnetoreception has not been studied to such a degree.

Why do I bring this up? I just read an article, published 3 days ago, about the magnetic north pole crossing the prime meridian.

A prime meridian is the meridian in a geographic coordinate system at which longitude is defined to be 0°. Together, a prime meridian and its anti-meridian form a great circle. This great circle divides a spheroid, e.g., Earth, into two hemispheres.



Meridian line at Greenwich is the Prime meridian of the world, Longitude 0 deg 0' 0" which defines GMT.

Earth's magnetic north pole, which has been wandering faster than expected in recent years, has now crossed the prime meridian.

Magnetic north has been lurching away from its previous home in the Canadian Arctic toward Siberia at a rate of about 34 miles (55 kilometers) a year over the past two decades. The latest model of the Earth's magnetic field, released Dec. 10 by the National Centers for Environmental Information and the British Geological Survey, predicts that this movement will continue, though likely at a slower rate of 25 miles (40 km) each year.

Scientists release a new version of the World Magnetic Model every five years, so this 2020 update was expected. In February 2019, though, they had to release an update ahead of schedule due to the fast clip of magnetic north's movements.

...modern navigation systems rely on magnetic north and will have to be recalibrated as the poles continue to wander. Already, for example, airports have had to rename some of their runways, which have names based on compass directions.

So, should we be concerned about the poles flipping? Well, we're long overdue according to many scientists. However, this change in our magnetic poles is not a sudden flip, but a slow process, during which the field strength becomes weak, very probably the field becomes more complex and might show more than two poles for a while, and then builds up in strength and [aligns] in the opposite direction,"

It's not going to be an "end of the world" scenario either, but will most likely cause some big headaches for us. That's because a weakened magnetic field may cause an increase in solar radiation hitting our planet, which would affect our power grids and our health. In addition, it may disorient all those species that rely on geomagnetism for navigation, including bees, salmon, turtles, whales, bacteria and pigeons. There is no scientific consensus on how those creatures would cope.

I looked up this picture a few months ago.

Historically, the Magnetic North Pole just kinda drifted around aimlessly, but since the 1970's it's been making a beeline across the Arctic Ocean (toward Siberia).

I really am starting to think we might be in the early stages of a pole reversal.

I don’t know how their doing it,
but something tells me it involves a Brazilian Witch doctor, a Ouija board and 3 upside down crucifix.
I just got this feeling.

If it was a pole reversal and it obviously has shown that it's going in one direction faster than ever, why do they anticipate that it will slow down?

You'd think it would maintain or increase in speed. What about the south pole? Are we to assume it's shifting into the exact same spots at the exact same speeds?

When I was a working man and we'd have beautiful weather all week and then it would turn crappy for the weekend, we all said it was Russian weather wars to demoralize the Americans workers.

Hey .. that is good conjecture.

I have looked into this a bit, and yes, both the north and the south poles are currently in (quickening) motion.

The south pole actually left the borders of the continent of Antarctica ….

But what does it mean?

Russia is stealing our north pole. Putin is Putin it in their waters so they can claim it as theirs. This is worse than influencing an election, we need to do something about it right away. As payment in full they can send me two cases of good Russian vodka. I will give them a receipt for the magnetic North pole on delivery.

All that I know is that there's a reason for ice sheets surrounding the poles so it has to do with temperature.

Regardless of why, if they continue to move at an accelerated pace, all that I know is weather changes around the world that will become more different from the usual for every area as the shift of the poles slowly changes.

Not flip poles quickly causing apocalyptic weather and likely quelling many species on the planet including the vast number of us.. but a continued slow shift of weather changes for hundreds of years into the future, reshaping life on earth over time.

Meh.. ethanol is supposedly ethanol when it's all said and done after it revitalizes your liver by allowing vitamins and minerals to enter it at an accelerated rate. That's why it's so addictive, it's really good for you until you have too much.

I wouldn't put it past them to have made the world's biggest, most powerful underground magnet comparable to some of the United States' biggest and most top secret technologies.

You know what the funny part is? On this map, it shows the squiggles stopped at around 1862. Fun fact... They only started recording it at that time. Everything before it is supposedly based on unseen proof. They only assumed because of supposed evidence in rocks. I think that line has been more strait before that date than we're being led to believe. I mean... Is it a coincidence or maybe it's like the double slit experiment. It only started going strait when we started observing it... lol


I made a post on the same 'feeling' a few days ago Here and someone blatantly said I was full of ****.

I've read some serious doom and gloom stuff that has had me a little frizzled at some short moments of my life, nothing too worrisome but of all things I've ever been seriously uncomfortable (in the back of my mind - nothing panic worthy yet - this one is really sticking with me enough where I'm at least a little concerned.

As they say... The stars are aligning. Too many really unsettling things seem to be going on right now with everything that could be affecting our day to day lives. We've been going through some serious tribulations all over the world for the past handful of years. Some really crazy stuff... Almost like it's all being orchestrated. Too much too fast too soon. I know I'm not the only one seeing this.

the magnetic pole has shifted before so maybe we should say it's always moving, not permanently north or south
