What makes you think some species are not evolving?

Does evolution take longer than the life span of known fossils before they fall
apart and become dust? We don't have any bones that show any kind of
a slow transition that evolution suggests. It seems to to me if science is
gonna go up against goat herders, It should at least be able to make
them look like goat herders. It doesn't, science in many ways is confirmation
of scripture. To deny it takes bias.

Of which species?

There are plenty of bones in the known/discovered fossil record, but they are still few comparatively to the species that have lived: not all remains become fossils, and not all fossils have been discovered.

Do fossils have a life span? Do you know what a fossil is and how long it take for a remain to become a fossil?

In general, large scale and widespread evolution is an extremely long process,

Well that's convenient isn't it? A process that takes so long no evidence survives
but we can make drawings of crap that can be used to fill younger minds up
with someones nonsense.

I'm sorry but it seems to me that the better of the two paths is far and away
what the Bible teaches no doubt about it. what young people learn from this
crap is horrible to have to grow up believing. And the rise in secularism has
obviously had such a positive affect on school violence lately.

Looks an awful lot like what kids we're taught in my day was way better than
what secularism is teaching them. And that's just at a glance.

Fossils?

So, ignore science and empirical data for a belief with no empirical evidence?

People, you included, are free to believe whatever they wish. No need to be sorry about it.

The study and teachings of verifiable and observable data—science—contributes to school violence?

Interesting.

That it is explore it yourself. Secularism teaches them they have
no real purpose. You're gonna live and die and that's it so if life is
miserable because of others? Why not get even and whack a few
before you whack yourself?

Very simple!

Just an obviously biased opinion. When everything man touches he taints
with violence.

Can one not believe in both science and a higher power (God/creator/godhead/etc)?

Now you're just being silly and absurd.

But if you are going to use secularism as the scapegoat for violence, I'm glad there's never been any type of religious violence throughout history.

ETA:
But I remind you that spirituality is not necessarily synonymous with religiousness; even though they can go hand in hand, they need not. Plenty of spiritual people are not religious, and plenty of non-spiritual people are nonviolent.

and saying people that don't have a religious background believe life has no purpose isn't bias at all...

I don't personally recall any athiests blowing themselves up in crowds.... do you?

Nope they're more cowardly than even that. Atheists are far more
prone to be homicidal psychopaths and pray on the weak than they
are to be suicidal religious fanatics.

Backed up by science

The list of scientific studies leaves no doubt.

Detectives always narrow their search to atheists when looking for serial killers.

IF one looks at the genetics of these species, generation to generation .... they are evolving. Thus to say they are not, is ignorance.

Conservapedia? really?

im not too sure about your sources there... you didn't happen to read any of the links said page provided did you?

a few surveys don't always equate to legit findings...

interestingly enough it seems there are more bible believing prisoners in the US alone then athiests

www.statista.com...

Its also wrong. People with no faith, may well see a purpose to living. Similarly there are many religious people who see no purpose. This is just another poor tempt by the usual suspects.

Long periods of time just don't happen from one generation to the next.
Use your head.

You're not making sense.

You say secularism leads to violence (specifically killing/murder), but dismiss violence committed by non-secularists because...it's committed in a different manner and because the beliefs of the offender are different?

That's just a logically fallacious and downright laughable argument.

ETA:

I thought the OP was about evolution.
