Oh wow, Hiya Kat! What a wonderful surprise! Did you find your new room yet?
Sounds like you've been having fun Hun.

We've kept the doors open and the lights on as you can see. You showed up just in time. The pixies baked some special cupcakes. Have a seat and I'll bring a hot chocolate or something better.

Erm...

Lights on?

I pinched a couple of light bulbs as my burrow was too dark and the shops were closed 😉😳

Promise... I will “eventually” bring some new ones...!

“Coughs”... Darned throat...

Love those precious babies! Give them snuggles for me please.

Snuggles given, they said "Thank You". They are so descriptive of my moods too, little buggers, shame on them

Ooooh, love your latest avatar!
Thanks. The jaguar is an impressive survivor, I admire its stealth and cunning.

I am up easing in to getting up this time of day for work tomorrow.
Feed the critters, walk the dog, yada yada yada. The world is so still in these hours, you can clearly sense if something is amiss. Hmm is there?
I think I will go with the latter, have a quick little lobotomy and all will be good, aye

Hows it goes?

That sounds so cozy. Do you make your dream catchers? And you have an actual writing station, I am so envious.

I've got projects galore and am excited to get to them!
Go for it. I hope they don't send you out on some futile laborious endeavor.

First
a kick start, then
. I know it's not Friday, but why not spread the joy a little early.
Then I'll "Carpe Diem". Top of my: Practice "Nice" (if I do it in short burst it won't be too painful), shovel snow, "Nice" sort papers, "Nice", clean.
Toodles.
Happy Today. I put a sign with that up on my work station when I get in. People always go "What is so happy about it" Party poopers.

Good morning to you.. good morning to you
We’re all in our places with sun shiney faces
Good morning to you 😏

On my second cup of coffee.. feeling particularly positive and upbeat.
Detangling myself from past negative influences which caused negative feelings and moving forward with content and peace.

The sun is shining brightly into the future as far as fresh new beginnings , new outlooks, and discarding old baggage.

Wishing all the very best to every Sheddite and especially the lurkers.. even Nyiah’s fish. May they feel infinitely loved by her daughters.

Have an awesome day everyone !

My little bunny always up to something. Good thing we have spare bulbs in the lightbulb/candle closet.

I used to leave a candle lit in the windows, but with the cats roaming around at night, I thought it best to use our electric power. Ya know, because cats like knocking things down and all, or the dumb ones will swipe at it, burn a paw and the rest of the castle down. You can never be too careful.

Chores done, snow shoveled, I started in the wee hours, so blissfully silent as a soft dusting fluttered about us, Sam and I. He enjoyed it, me thinks, sniffing all over, deaf and blind I had to keep track of him, when his nose took him to obscure delectable places. We greeted the light Good Morning as it reveled every sprig and twig. I say "light' because the sun hid behind a curtain of clouds, thankfully they keep the hidious cold out.

I waved to the "Snow-Man" the snow plow guy. He kindly lifted the plow a bit before my drive way. So sweet.
Next door neighbor stopped to ask if he should "blow it out" (after I was done) and most importantly catch up on gossip.
I proudly told him I was all done. Good neighbors all around.
Poking around on youtube I found this, when I retreated to the hearth.

This is for you, you know who you are.
I can be nostalgic for times past but in my heart I knows, I know my kin, we will see each other face to face and we will laugh and cry we will tell tails sing songs. You know who you are.
A glorious day, I met smiles every where even though I felt grumpy

People’s abilities to get out and do things.. work..take care of yards.. stand for long periods of time cooking, etc... I envy

My disabilities prevent me from living the type of life others have .. but I’m working on ideas to perhaps do some work from home.

I lay down most of the day because its easiest on my back... but maybe I could handle more time sitting

It was rather disheartening when my disabilities were thrown in my face yesterday.
Being called a disabled bipolar loser by someone you used to consider a friend only shows you made the right choice in letting the friendship go.

No one asks to have mental illness and being diagnosed bipolar at the age of 18 ,I know all to well the judgements and mind games that can come with that diagnosis. Having people throw my mental illness in my face as a way to discredit me, and avoid facing truth, has been a common theme in my life, sadly.

Not sure how this post veered off into that topic.. but .. having disabilities sucks.

Having bi polar issues since the age of 18 has not been an easy roller coaster ride. For those of you who think the magic pills they give you always help.. think again. Often they need adjusting.. side effects can be horrid for some .. and the wrong combinations can cause death. 😕 Was saved by a pharmacist once over a bad scrip.

I’ve done my best with meds at times and tried without because of frustration. Currently on a mood stabilizer and things seem to be ok.. except for life’s disappointments that sometimes cause hurt , frustration and anger... which eventually I get over.

I honestly would prefer to fight cancer all my life than bipolar disease. At least people are much more empathetic towards your disease, much more supportive, and less likely to throw it in your face in a malicious condescending way.

Oh well.. it is what it is .. just grateful not everyone has that attitude towards bipolar people. I know a few.. some being very dear to me and they are good souls who have struggled in ways others just don’t understand.

I know deep down I’m not a bipolar loser and will continue to pray for those that think I am.

Pain limits me as well. It is quite an adjustment not being able to do all the things I was once able to do.

It seems your current meds are helping you and I appreciate your honesty. It takes courage sometimes to be completely honest and open about ourselves.

I had cancer and know that struggle. I know people with mental illness and see their struggles. Everyone seems to have some sort of battle to face in their lives and it helps to have a support team, family and friends.

I’ve been on my current med for quite some time ( well over four years and way before I joined )..and it’s all good. I would have spoken out about it earlier on these threads but I was a little wary of it being used against me because of certain posts I read as well as it is rather personal to me.

It happened again ( in my life ) yesterday in a very malicious way.. all because I chose to tell my side of a story.

I’m learning to let things go.. Night.. and you are right.. everyone goes through their own struggles.. I see that.. in so many ways.

sincerely, just another bipolar loser
Sheye 😜

Everybody’s struggle with cancer is different depending on extenuating circumstances. Everybody’s struggles with bipolar disorder or schizophrenia , etc are different. I won’t pretend to know what another bipolar person has been through in their struggles, but I can guarantee you they had less loving support than their family
members diagnosed with cancer.

It’s understandable because it is a disease that can effect the choices you make, and of course those are judged.

Do you sort of find it odd how I needed courage to speak out about that ? Why should there be more shame in suffering through mental illness than those who suffered through cancer ? Why is the world like that ?

No.. I’m not a warrior that beat cancer.. I am a warrior that continues to fight a battle which started at the age of 18.. and continue to fight.. even in the essence of malicious judgements ,because of it.

I need to keep reminding myself of the strength I’ve shown through some incredibly trying times, and to keep fighting the good fight.

ETA: I just realized I really don’t understand the pain and anguish of cancer either.. The horrendous chemo treatments.. no appetite.. wondering if you will live through it. I certainly don’t mean to downplay that suffering.. or the suffering of battling many other diseases. I guess I am just envious that many get applause for battling their disease while bipolar people often get backstabbing and judgement. Make sense ?

I would also like to add that most people don’t blame someone with certain diseases if their their chemo or meds don’t work.. either causing death or extreme problems.

A lot of people think that if people with mental health problems just take their meds everything will be good and they won’t get depressed and suicidal. I once begged a doctor for an antidepressant because of serious depression. He was more concerned about me going manic than than me taking my life.. and he wouldn’t prescribe one.🤷🏻‍♀️

These are the some of the issues we struggle with.. the stigma that the mental health patient can easily fix themselves with meds ,is like saying chemo will work for everyone. It’s really not an easy ride and one I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.

Hey shedfolks, how goes it?

Same Old, Same Old here...

tbh - It's like watching re-runs of the same old movie, again and again!

Peeps - I hear that the pm's may be playing up again, but someone may have been trying to reach you, so have a look at your other communication avenues please?

Oops not good when pm’s aren’t making it through. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Oh well .. at least there are other avenues of communication. Email.. facebook.. multiple social media apps..it’s all good when you need to communicate.. especially more privately.

Hopefully everyone gets their messages and communication sorted.

This post needs a tune ..with sarcasm 😉
