I'm wondering how many fans we have here at ATS. I was fortunate enough to have seen them live many years ago and it was a magical experience. From young children to seniors in the audience.

In this first vid, a child gets one of their guitars. In the show I attended, a kid got a guitar too. I want to be a kid! Lol
Live shows are phenomenal!

Ummm...My daughter is heading up to Canada to see them either tomorrow or the next day...

The ladies go to see them a couple times every year...

I like music...but I've never been a fan of concerts or the bar scene...the music is always way too loud...(sensitive hearing) it hurts my ears...

Even being in crowded restaurants with all the conversations is sometimes a pain...

TSO does have some wonderful albums though...

It is very difficult to introduce me to something new that I will like.
New means change , and I hate change.

Yet you have successfully did exactly that.

In Tampa, they have a huge Christmas tree that lights up to their music. My family goes every year. It is a tremendous experience. Would love to see them in person. THE perfect Christmas music.

Have built and worked during their show twice now. They have an amazing production crew and are always finding new ways to enhance the performance. Its an amazing show to watch...its an even more amazing show to get paid to watch!

How awesome is that?
Road crews work hard setting up shows. What do you do exactly if you don't mind my asking.

Yay! I remember when I first heard the name and people raving as much as they did. I figured what the heck, I'll give them a listen. Man, they blew me away. I wasn't expecting an orchestra to sound like that!

THE perfect Christmas gift for anyone who can afford it.

Otherwise, watch some shows on youtube.

The Christmas tree that lights up with their music must be awesome. I've seen vids of houses lit up and the lights blinking to the tune of one or more of their songs. Very cool!

I'm a lighting tech, but at the time I worked with TSO I was general local labor. So load in/out and I'm pretty sure I ran spotlight during on of the shows and reloaded pyrotechnic charges between shows for the other time. Now I am mostly the L2/L1 for corporate gigs, however I just took out Old Crow Medicine Show as their fill in LD a few months ago.

My sister lives near Albany and they took my 72 year old father a few years back to see their massive hometown show. After he got back I asked him how he liked his first rock concert lol. That was one of his favorite shows ever.

You must be really good at what you do to even be considered for such a big show.

Fun job.

Awww, so glad your Father got to see them. There was such a huge age range. So wonderful to be amongst a sea of people who all enjoy the same thing.

Radio plays their version of Carol the Bells around here close to Christmas and I like it a lot. I've not heard much more of them though. They are incredible, Its like a mixture of classical and rock.

Loved them during the Savatage days. The TSO direction was brilliant.

I guess there are two versions of the show to maximize their touring window.
