They have a few albums and it's mostly experimental middle eastern rock. Heavy on experimental.

I love Secret Chiefs 3! I've seen them live. And yes, Trey Spruance is in it and he was also in mr bungle.

The cool thing about secret chiefs 3 is that it's a bunch of satellite bands under the same name with the same lead guy. When you see them, you never really know which band is playing. Great stuff.

Just a word about the first video...

It rocked but that doesn’t mean it is “good” or “great”.

My buddy said System of a Down was the future of rock (metal) and they went nowhere fast (Chop Sueye, so?).

Again, just because it rocks doesn’t mean good or even great.

Thanks for the rock (I have a riff very similar to this) because it means guitar rock is still alive!!

Ahh this is truth. I like a lot of styles, none that I'd consider great, but definitely hit the spot with me.

Heck, and this is probably going to bite me, but I listen more to psychedelic trance to help me sleep. nothing with voices, just the soothing sounds of madness encapsulated within the ambience of a tale untold, yet left to the mind to imagine.

I blame Winx... one night I was walking down Hay St Mall here in Perth, and this clothing shop had this weird yet intriguing sound emanating from it's facade... I had to enter, in my bogan clothes, so I was not there to buy anything they had on offer, and asked the chick behind the count "Wots this music?" and she said "Winx."...

I still dig it, but it's nothing like I remember it... so for your philistines, I present to you... mental.

I would like to know how to embed videos like that, the "instructions" didn't help me a bit.

I found some very good rock bands recently that I'd never heard of before. Which is strange because I've been a musician for 45 years, mostly playing bass during that time. I'll start a thread on those if someone would please instruct me on how to post videos.
