Modern Day 'Sleeper' Assets - Contemporary Deliberate Dissociation and Manipulation

I have had first hand experience in programs ran by DIA/CIA/JSSOC/FBI VARIOUS ALPHABET AGENCIES, GENERALLY SUPPORTED BY 160TH - ALL RAN UNDER THE NSC FOR LEGAL PURPOSES. Whether it is ethical (OR NOT) is not the issue... let me lead with that. This thread is to discuss MODERN DAY SLEEPER ASSETS - CONTEMPORARY DELIBERATE DISSOCIATION AND MANIPULATION, from BLUEBIRD, to ARTICHOKE, to MK ULTRA to.... ??!??! DARE I SAY THE HIGHLY DOUBTED, INFAMOUS CODENAME: MONARCH!

You want proof? Well hold on, we will present some things that you may really have to take the time to digest... but I don't think anything you could classify as ultimate proof, to be fair. Let's be honest... 'proof' is an interesting concept on the internet - tell me that anything including video cannot be faked at this day and age. Keep in mind we are on a privately owned forum with rules. If i DID have 'PROOF' I would simply not be allowed to show it here, and if I did, this all would promptly be deleted. That is simply a fact. Also, consider today's whistle-blowing laws, and the way whistle blowers are treated - for anyone to provide hard documentation, that would surely still be classified, would simply be illegal. Especially if the programs were branched under the NSC (as I claim) and technically LEGAL. To reiterate, my perspective is that the only thing that could truly qualify as PROOF (other than personal experience, which is only for the parties involved) would be declassified documents that were produced and verified by Congress or other higher up 'powers that be'.

Please everyone, let's all be respectful, and if you have a point to make, or an opinion to voice, so be it, but do so respectfully, and please refrain from constantly reposting essentially the same thing. Let's not 'beat a dead horse'. I will ask that we do not turn this into a 'mental health debate' or anything of the sort. If you want to discuss that, please start your own thread. Again - this thread is to discuss MODERN DAY SLEEPER ASSETS - CONTEMPORARY DELIBERATE DISSOCIATION AND MANIPULATION - discussing the past declassified programs we KNOW existed, and then the contemporary ones that some are not sure exist. One important thing to understand, which is a fact, and not opinion, is this: it would be impossible to prove these programs do not exist. To prove they do, may be possible, but unlikely, but to prove that they do not, would simple be impossible - what are you going to do, provide video surveillance of everywhere in the world, and show lack of activity? I will assume my point is taken.

So, before I go into some personal tidbits (guarding personal information, both to my best interest, and per warning/advisement of SuperModerators here) lets brief some forum guidelines, and then also perform an analysis of things we DO know about projects like these from the past.

Ok, next post I will start posting some old material, to give everyone a background who is not familiar!

Let's start with a bit of history - Project Bluebird:

Project Bluebird – as well as other related projects – as Dr. Colin A. Ross describes in his book – were unethical experiments conducted by psychiatrists to create amnesia, new identities, hypnotic access codes, and new memories in the minds of experimental subjects. His research is based on 15,000 pages of documents obtained under the Freedom of Information Act. Dr. Ross is a past president of the International Society for the Study of Dissociation.

” The Manchurian Candidate is compelling evidence for the reality of therapist-created multiple personality disorder. The condition has been created deliberately by mind control doctors.

Experiments to create Manchurian Candidate “super spies” must be understood in their social and historical context, which is one of pervasive, systematic mind control experimentation, not by a few isolated renegade doctors, but by the leaders of psychiatry and the major medical schools. Because this book is likely to provoke extreme reactions, I have taken great care to present only facts which are fully documented and based on objective, public domain information.

The basic premise of the book The Manchurian Candidate is that a group of American POWs in the Korean War is brainwashed while crossing through Manchuria to freedom. They arrive back in the US amnesic for the period of brainwashing, and one of them has been programmed to be an assassin. His target is a candidate for president of the US. His Asian handlers control him with a hypnotically implanted trigger, a particular playing card.

Multiple personality disorder is now classified by the American Psychiatric Association as dissociative identity disorder. According to my definition, the Manchurian Candidate is an experimentally created dissociative identity disorder that meets the following four criteria:

-Created deliberately
-A new identity is implanted
-Amnesia barriers are created
-Used in simulated or actual operations

That the CIA created Manchurian Candidates is a fact, and easy to understand and justify from a national security perspective. I am not criticizing the CIA or the military because I am not an expert on intelligence matters. I am a psychiatrist specializing in dissociative disorders.

The participation of psychiatrists and medical schools in mind control research was not a matter of a few scattered doctors pursuing questionable lines of investigation. Rather, the mind control experimentation was systematic, organized, and involved many leading psychiatrists and medical schools. The mind control experiments were interwoven with radiation experiments, and research on chemical and biological weapons. They were funded by the CIA, Army, Navy, Air Force, and by other agencies including the Public Health Service and the Scottish Rite Foundation.

The psychiatrists, psychologists, neurosurgeons, and other contractors conducting the work were imbedded in a broad network of doctors. Much of the research was published in medical journals. The climate was permissive, supportive, and approving of mind control experimentation.

The work of the mind control doctors did not occur in a vacuum. The importation of Nazi doctors to the US through secret programs like PAPERCLIP is part of the context. After the end of World War II, German scientists and technical experts were being held in detainment camps. The British, French, Americans, and Russians became embroiled in highly competitive recruiting efforts to secure the services of these German specialists. The prospect of losing the industrial and scientific services of these German experts lead to the creation of Project PAPERCLIP.

Over 1,000 German scientists were secretly brought into the US without State Department approval. The most famous individual brought over in this manner was Werner von Braun, the rocket scientist. Von Braun was the head of the German V2 rocket program. The NASA rockets that took Neil Armstrong to the moon were built by von Braun and his colleagues. Medical doctors also came over under PAPERCLIP. “

BLUEBIRD led to ARTICHOKE... some of the info would be redundant, and the above description of BLUEBIRD covers alot, so we will just offer a slight brief mentioning ARTICHOKE and move on...

Project ARTICHOKE (also referred to as Operation ARTICHOKE) was a CIA project that researched interrogation methods and arose from Project BLUEBIRD on August 20, 1951, run by the CIA’s Office of Scientific Intelligence. A memorandum by Richard Helms to CIA director Allen Welsh Dulles indicated Artichoke became Project MKUltra on April 13, 1953.

” The project studied hypnosis, forced morphine addiction (and subsequent forced withdrawal), and the use of other chemicals including '___', to produce amnesia and other vulnerable states in subjects.

ARTICHOKE was a mind control program that gathered information together with the intelligence divisions of the Army, Navy, Air Force, and FBI. In addition, the scope of the project was outlined in a memo dated January 1952 that stated, “Can we get control of an individual to the point where he will do our bidding against his will and even against fundamental laws of nature, such as self-preservation?” “

ARTICHOKE led to MKULTRA... we have the most info on MKULTRA compared to any of these other programs... MKULTRA really branched out widely, and despite what people claim, was more of an information gathering program, than an operational asset program. Some led to programs for mass manipulation, some led to programs for individual manipulation, but what MKULTRA was about, was learning what we can do, what we can't do, and what is worth doing...

The scope of Project MKUltra was broad with research undertaken at 80 institutions, including colleges and universities, hospitals, prisons, and pharmaceutical companies. The CIA operated through these institutions using front organizations, although sometimes top officials at these institutions were aware of the CIA's involvement.

Project MKUltra was first brought to public attention in 1975 by the Church Committee of the United States Congress and Gerald Ford's United States President's Commission on CIA activities within the United States (also known as the Rockefeller Commission).

Investigative efforts were hampered by CIA Director Richard Helms' order that all MKUltra files be destroyed in 1973; the Church Committee and Rockefeller Commission investigations relied on the sworn testimony of direct participants and on the relatively small number of documents that survived Helms's destruction order. In 1977, a Freedom of Information Act request uncovered a cache of 20,000 documents relating to project MKUltra which led to Senate hearings later that year. Some surviving information regarding MKUltra was declassified in July 2001. In December 2018, declassified documents included a letter to an unidentified doctor discussing work on six dogs made to run, turn and stop via remote control and brain implants.

-Substances which produce physical disablement such as paralysis of the legs, acute anemia, etc.
-Substances which will produce a chemical that can cause blisters.

HERE ARE A FEW CHOICE MKULTRA DOCUMENTS THAT DETAIL SOME OF THE EXPERIMENTS, TO GIVE YOU A REAL GOOD IDEA OF WHAT WAS GOING ON!

Now, let’s take a brief look at some of the key players, and topics, further authenticating this issue. Now keep in mind the aforementioned topic of Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD), which is now known as Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) or another Dissociative Disorder Not Otherwise Specified (DDNOS).

First up is - George Hoben Estabrooks - a Harvard University graduate, a Rhodes Scholar, chairman of the Department of Psychology at Colgate University and an authority on hypnosis during World War II. He is known for hypnoprogramming U.S. government agents during World War II.

In a May 13, 1968 article in the Providence Evening Bulletin 31, Estabrooks is described as a former consultant for the FBI and CIA, and is quoted as saying that, “the key to creating an effective spy or assassin rests in splitting a man’s personality, or creating multi-personality, with the aid of hypnotism… This is not science fiction. This has and is being done. I have done it. ”

NOW KEEP IN MIND, 1968 WAS BEFORE MKULTRA WAS DECLASSIFIED!!! EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE THINGS WOULD BE DISCUSSED, AND NOT EVERYTHING IS ALWAYS BURIED

He was welcomed enthusiastically by communist cells, and was deliberately given a dishonorable discharge by the Corps (which was in on the plot) and became a card-carrying party member. All I had to do was hypnotize the whole man, get in touch with Jones B, the loyal American, and I had a pipeline straight into the Communist camp.”

“War is the end of all law. When we speak of keeping within the rules of the game we are childish, because it is not a game and true rules never hold. In the last analysis any device is justifiable which enables us to protect ourselves from defeat.”

“Only a people who refuse to permit themselves to sink into intellectual lethargy and conformity, only a people who question and think . . . can be sure that hypnosis–disguised or direct–will not undermine their freedom and rob them of their very lives.” “

Here is what Walter H. Bowart has to say about the subject of G.H. Estabrooks, and the method/techniques required for the creation of a ‘split personality’:

” There is not space here to detail all the techniques and methods that have received attention from the CIA and others. The basic methodology was revealed decades ago by George Estabrooks – a prominent psychologist under contract to the intelligence services – in his book Hypnotism, first published in 1943. Estabrooks candidly acknowledged that his “main interest has always been the military application of hypnosis.” While ‘Esty’ notes that the “intelligent reader … will sense that much more is withheld than has been told,” there is nevertheless enough information given to construct a fairly accurate picture of the fundamentals of mind control.

What is needed is a subject suffering from what used to be termed Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD), and what is now termed Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). This condition can already exist within the subject or can be created by the therapist. In all cases, however, the condition is created by severe trauma – so severe in fact that the traumatic episode cannot be integrated into the experiences of the core personality.

Far and away the most common cause of MPD is early childhood abuse, usually inflicted by a parent or other adult guardian. As Dr. Frank Putnam stated in 1989: “I am struck by the quality of extreme sadism that is reported by most MPD victims. Many multiples have told me of being sexually abused by groups of people, of being forced into prostitution by family members, or of being offered as sexual enticement to their mother’s boyfriends. After one has worked with a number of MPD patients, it becomes obvious that severe, sustained, and repetitive child abuse is a major element in the creation of MPD.”

When the abuse is of an extreme nature, the natural human reaction is to build a wall around such experiences, so to speak, by creating a separate and distinct personality to deal with future episodes of abuse. Once the core personality is split, it is then possible to control one or more of the alters that have been created, without the conscious knowledge of the main personality. This, according to Estabrooks, creates the ‘Super Spy,’ willing to follow orders unquestioningly without even being aware that he is doing so.

Estabrooks only alludes to the severe trauma that is required to create a true multiple, often referring to the trauma euphemistically as a form of hypnotism. At one point, he notes that “[multiple personalities] are caused by a form of hypnotism in the first place! We will see that emotional shock produces exactly the same results as hypnotism.” Later, he comes closer to the grim reality when he states: “multiple personality could be both caused and cured by hypnotism. Remember that war is a grim business. Suppose we deliberately set up that condition of multiple personality to further the ends of military intelligence.“

Elsewhere, Estabrooks acknowledges that he himself had written previously that: “everyone could be thrown into the deepest state of hypnotism by the use of what [I] termed the Russian method – no holds barred, deliberate disintegration of the personality by psychic torture … The subject might easily be left a mental wreck but war is a grim business.” Also noted is that children make especially good subjects, given that they “are notoriously easy to hypnotize.” Which is to say, children are particularly vulnerable to abuse and have more of a tendency to dissociate traumatic experiences, thereby creating alter identities that can be later exploited and controlled. “


PLEASE CAREFULLY CONSIDER THE MENTION OF CHILDHOOD ABUSE BEING THE PRIMARY CAUSE OF MPD/DID/SPLIT PERSONALITIES, AND PONDER TO YOURSELF IN WHAT WORLD AGENCIES SUCH AS THE CIA WOULD NOT UTILIZE THIS INFORMATION!

Now onto Dr. Narut - who made several comments mistakenly thinking the info was being declassified with other schedule declassifications, as seen such places as The Sydney Morning Herald, Monday, July 1975

” The controversy over whether the U.S. Government has ever made use of “political assassinations” seems certain to take a new turn after a remarkable disclosure last week by an officer in the US Navy, In the course of a conversation during a NATO[North Atlantic Treaty Organization]-sponsored conference in Oslo, it was said that the US Navy has been seeking out convicted murderers for retraining in a “political” role. The suggestion was supported by details of this training which, if they are true, might have been taken from the screenplay of Kubrick’s film “A Clockwork Orange.”

The details come from Lt. Commander Thomas Narut, a psychologist working at the US Naval hospital in Naples. He was attending a NATO conference held last week in a hotel near Oslo at which about 120 scientists, including five from Britain, exchanged information on psychological research designed to help people in tough jobs ‘especially soldiers’ to cope with stress.

Dr. Narut’s story was later categorically denied-but no explanation was offered why a Navy officer should or could volunteer the detailed descriptions he did.

The conference heard papers on the effect of battle stress on soldiers in the Yom Kippur War, as well as on the blacking out of supersonic fighter pilots and on the long-term effect of interrogation in enemy hands.

Dr. Narut’s paper appeared to be much the same: the abstract circulated before the meeting was entitled: “The use of symbolic model and verbal intervention in inducting and reducing stress.” And in the course of a 110-minute discourse on it he did no more than hint at his work in teaching “combat readiness units” to cope with the stress of killing. It was only under private questioning afterwards with a small group of his listeners, and then later alone with Insight reporter, Peter Watson, that Dr. Narut began to unfold his remarkable story.

Dr. Narut is in his mid-thirties. He completed a doctoral thesis several years ago on whether certain films could provoke anxiety and whether forcing a man to do tasks irrelevant to the film while watching it might help him cope with such anxiety (a technique described in “Clockwork Orange”). He began his speech to the conference by saying that in the U.S. Navy scientists were well provided with facilities for research. Psychologists, for instance, had access to computerized records, including psychological tests, of large numbers of personnel.

His naval work involved establishing how to induce servicemen who mar not be naturally inclined to kill, to do so under certain conditions. When pressed afterwards as to what was meant by “combat readiness units,” he explained this included men for commando-type operations and-so he said-for insertion into U.S. embassies under cover, ready to kill in those countries should the need arise. Dr. Narut used the word “hitmen” and “assassin” of these men.

The method, according to Dr. Narut, was to show films specially designed to show people being killed and injured in violent ways. By being acclimated through these films, the men eventually became able to dissociate any feelings from such a situation. Dr. Narut also added that U.S. Naval psychologists specially selected men for these commando tasks, from submarine crews, paratroops, and some were convicted murderers from military prisons. Asked whether he was suggesting that murderers were being released from prisons to become assassins, he replied: “It’s happened more than once.” Another American delegate present in the group, Alfred Zitani, from New Jersey, was sufficiently surprised to remark to Watson: “Do you think Dr. Narut realizes what he has just said? That kind of information must be classified.”

Later in private conversation with Watson, Dr. Narut described the training in which he had been involved. It had, he said, been. in three phases:

Selection:

Research on those given awards for valour in battle has shown, said Narut, that the best killers are men with “passive aggressive” personalities. They are people with a lot of drive-though they are well-disciplined and do not appear nervous who periodically experience bursts of explosive energy when they can literally kill without remorse. Dr. Narut says he and his colleagues have, therefore, been looking for men who have either shown themselves capable of killing in this premeditated way (in Vietnam perhaps, or in a murder in the barracks) or whom the Navy’s test show as potentially capable of it.

Among the tests used is the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory. This consists of hundreds of questions, and rates personality on many traits including such things as hostility, depression, psychopathy. Also used is the famous inkblot test in which the subject describes in detail what the various inkblots make him think of. Dr. Narut said that on this test he looks for men who respond at the extremes to the coloured cards rather than purely black and white. In clinical terms this is generally accepted as indicating that a patient is violent, The patient who responds excessively to the black and white cards is often regarded as a depressive.

Stress reduction training:

The men selected are brought either to the Navy’s neuropsychiatric laboratory in San Diego, California (which also trains spies in techniques to counter interrogation), or to the laboratory where Narut works in the U.S. Naval Medical Center in Naples. They are first taught to shoot, and then the “Clockwork Orange” training begins in earnest, to rid them of any qualms they may have about killing.

According to Dr. Narut, men are shown a series of special films “to heighten their dissociative powers with regard to killing.” The films are gruesome and as the training proceeds they get progressively more horrific. Even so the trainee is forced to watch. His head is bolted into a clamp so that he cannot turn away and a special mechanism ensures that he cannot close his eyelids.

Dr. Narut said that one of the first films a trainee sees is a brutal, blow-by-blow account of an African youth being crudely circumcised by fellow members of his tribe. No anaesthetic is used and the knife is obviously blunt (this film in fact is one regularly used in psychological experiments “to create experimental stress”).

When the film is over the trainee is asked such questions as, “What color was the belt on the doctor’s trousers?” or “What was the motif on the handle of the knife with which the circumcision was made?”

From here the trainees proceed to films with people from a little nearer home. In one the camera follows the movements of a man at work in a saw mill, slicing planks of wood along their length. The film shows his thrusting movements, back and forth until suddenly he slips-and cuts his finger off.

In this way, said Dr. Narut, many of the trainees learn how to cope with even the most gruesome scenes with complete detachment. If physiological measures like heart and breathing rate which respond dramatically during the early films, calm down and resume their normal patterns as more bloodthirsty scenes are shown, the men are judged to have completed this stage. Many do not adjust, said Dr. Narut; presumably they are “failed.”

Dehumanization of the enemy:

In this last phase, the idea is to get the men to think of the potential enemies they will have to face as inferior forms of human life. Lectures and films now which portray personalities and customs in foreign countries whose interests may go against the US. But the films and lectures are specially biased to present the “enemy” as less than human: the stupidity of local customs is ridiculed, local personalities may be presented as evil demigods rather than legitimate political figures.

The process, according to Dr. Narut, takes a few weeks and the men are passed on. He refused to say where the men went, arguing that he did not have the necessary security clearance. “

Take some time to think about how these various methods/techniques are put together into a curriculum/training camp/grooming process if you will - utilizing a child with a dissociative base for the ultimate sleeper - with programmed personalities and behavior that be summoned/activated to perform on cue - ranging from conditioned stimuli response sequences (CSRS), to full on dissociative states - whether they are hypnotized/robotic in nature, or fully aware/groomed - identifying with the handlers/controllers agenda... stemming from purposefully elicited 'Stockholm Syndrome' type mindsets that were conditioned from early childhood.

We could go on to explore more techniques, and players, such as Dr Ewen Cameron, but I think it is fair to say that we have LEGITIMATELY ESTABLISHED THAT SLEEPER ASSETS, HYPNOTIZED AND/OR SPLIT PERSONALITY/DISSOCIATIVELY BASED, WE IN FACT USED. THIS HAS BEEN DOCUMENTED EXTENSIVELY AND EFFECTIVELY PROVEN.

Ok, now you already heard Christine DeNicola's testimoney of her being worked with as a child (and there was more testimony than just her, but there is only so much I can go over here) - and that may be hard to believe... but it is true. When the end justifies the means... when the world is at war... when you don't know what the other side is doing, in the name of National Security, and the Future of our Country - ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING IS JUSTIFIED TO SOME PEOPLE

Of course they haven't stopped - they've improved their methods greatly.

There is no logical reason the sociopaths running the shadow govt would halt this successful program over a few broken eggs. They'd pour way more $ into it immediately, hahaha. This is common sense.

It's just now things are more streamlined and the kinks have been mostly worked out. If you thought it was organized and systematic in the 50s and 60s your mind would be blown at how far reaching and ubiquitous these initiatives have become.

People actually pay $ to get desensitized and psychologically remolded these days (it's very entertaining). People love their propaganda and mind control.

I am pretty certain it still goes on. Anyone not familiar should also read up on the Stasi Techniques. These were thought reform techniques used on agents and citizens for manipulating and controlling the minds of everyone.

So everything you've discussed here in your thread in regards to its use on soldiers evolved and developed to be used on the general public and or anyone for that matter.

Not only do you have government or psychiatric authorities practicing the methods, but also other private groups who have obtained and learned such tactics to use at their will or convenience.

Exactly. The general population have already been subject to a less sinister form of mind control.

Subliminal advertising has been around since the 50's, so it's not a big stretch to conclude that intelligence agencies experimented with mind control to manipulate certain individuals.

It is rumored that The Department of Defense's research arm, DARPA, is in the process of creating mind controlled weapons, which is probably the result of past and ongoing mind control projects.
