If you're on mobile, it's highly likely. I'm on a tablet so much bigger screen. However some are on a phone and it's hard for fingers to not hit an ad banner.

I would be typing and it would just redirect. Or reading a post and it would just redirect without touching the screen.

Same here, I have never been able to access ATS with my phone because of those popups.

Are you using Chrome?

I'm on my cell phone as well and using Chrome I can barely read the new posts screen without re directed pages popping up over and over to the point I was going to stop visiting this site and it only happens on this site for me.

I then flipped over to my Edge browser app and no re directs at all. Maybe it's the browser you're using it's definitely not viral it's a hijack.

Devices running Windows only .
I believe Spybot Search and Destroy has a version for mobile devices and the normal version should work on tablets.
I have used Spybot S&D for a generation both at home and at work , but use at your own discretion .

Some malware make changes to Windows that when cleaned leaves one in a precarious predicament.

Didn't see a icon for your mobile browser history list but that is what the redirects often use.
There is a bigger problem with Google search, they are tracking and associating with AI.
Goes beyond simple Mnemonic alpha conversions like 3 to X.

I could never use Android or Apple for this site due to the pop ups and ads that get thrown our way , windows 7 and Opera and all is good

I was getting this for awhile too. When it happens, I just say goodbye to ATS for awhile and check in once in awhile to see if it has been fixed.

Kudos to you for having the tenacity to fight thru it enough to post a thread!

I have this happen alot but it stopped when I switched my browser. Got a new phone and it did it again. Started using new browser and it stopped. But yeah this happened too me all the time on ats but also on a couple other random sites
