Maybe it’s all the lead filled Alex Jones supplements I’ve been taking but man, you hit the nail on the head.

I don’t trust any media outlet. I only trust myself to look for the facts and avoid these political activists opinions.

Exactly. We all get our "news" from the mainstream media, that's how it's delivered, but from that point it's up to us to do the research to verify what they're telling us. Not just that, but to look for what they're not telling us as well.

Mm. Most of the guys I follow, the ones I posted earlier, are largely banned from the us mainstream media. Taibbi, Chomsky, hedges, hersch, pilger, are not generally allowed on any of the main media channels for any length of time, if at all.

Big fan of The Epoch Times

They made there mark way back when by being the first to expose the SARS virus coverup from China, and have developed into a very informative modern media outlet. I find very few media sources go into the depth of detail on reporting. Some might feel the articles are long, but they have had many exclusive first looks at closed-door testimony and they all turned out to be legit.

I'm sure many would say they have a conservative slant, however anything right of socialism in today's world is pegged conservative like it's a bad thing as opposed to a normal thing.

Definitely a source to look at. Their exposure of the Chinese Communist Party influence and infiltration in western culture is right on point.

While i like alex and there has been some good articles infowars had, it has gotten worse and worse. It slowly became an alt-right pro-christian website where alex and friends rant and rave. From calling vegans NWO puppets to constantly creating this image if all leftists being moronic anti-American.

I also forgot the reason why i left the website years ago. Fear mongering!!! When i was a daily reader they constantly put out doom porn articles from websites like the economic collapse. Infiwars would have you believe that every year we are on the cusp of collapse. Wether it be economic or some left vs right civil war.

Then alex and friends ads were survival gear. That's when i had enough. I saw the intelligent folk in the comments slowly leave and the morons stay and post more.

Infowars sucks and they ruined there chance to be something great.

Anyway, abbey martin is m hth favorite journalist. She is on youtube at empire files.

AJ himself admitted to being strictly for entertainment purposes. He built a multi million dollar empire on BS conspiracy and right wing politics. Brilliant imo.

Remind you of any other web forums? A perfect template for success with a targeted demographic and a off the wall persona. Brilliant!

When truth seems to be a matter of opinion trust is irrelevant.
If you have only a narrow source of information, the only one to distrust is yourself.
Listen to all of it, and know that it is not truth, but opinion.
I we choose information like we choose sports teams, we are in real trouble.

Am not trusting nobody, nowhere, no how. ( Yes: realize that is a double-negative. More fun to say that way

News outlets just stumble over themselves, trying to break stories first, so to heck with the 'facts'.
Pro-sports has become nothing but gambling scams, with the leagues in on the take.

All of our perceptions, are different. Every one of us, sensing this world differently.
Everything is doubtful, questionable, unsure.
Hence:
Nothin.

I feel like today’s media is untrustworthy by design. If everything is uncertain, it’s easier to manipulate and control people.

The only thing you can trust is your own intuition. Listen to your heart and seek your own truths. Nobody can tell me what is true, truth is subjective.

I try to look at things from multiple points of view and use logic and common sense to separate the signal from the noise. Basically, don’t believe it til you see it and then see it twice.

I don't necessarily trust anything, that is not to say there isn't truth at times. You just have to know how to read between the lines/dig a bit deeper, find different sources..etc

And to be fair, a sprinkle of reality thrown in now and again. The broken clock thing.

There is good utility in trusting at face value, that way if your trust is misplaced you know what to trust.
If you just mistrust, you can never really tell.

Yes, and to be fair, I think AJ has Sandy Hook on the nose but not exactly accurate.
