Excuse me, but thanks to the system, we are already poor. Last time I checked Society is already plagued with crimes. The system is already
broken.
Instead of repeating myself, I'll just refer to
this post and
this post I made a couple of days ago while having this exact same
debate. The facts clearly show that all forms of crime have been dropping for decades, so your perspective of the world is clearly not aligning with
the facts. What your post really does is prove the argument I made in that recent debate about how many people have this unrealistically negative
outlook on reality, believing that everything is going rapidly downhill when in fact the world is now more crime free and more peaceful than any other
time in recorded history. In that debate I also pointed out how the EU and many other nations including my own are currently suffering from very
unhealthy stagnant economies, meanwhile the U.S. economy has managed to avoid this trend and is actually doing very well. So forgive me if I find it
very conceited to act like things are worse then they've ever been in the U.S., it's clear that no matter how good things are it will never be enough
for some people, they want this magical Utopia which simply cannot exist.
The "most advanced nations" on Earth are ones that take away your freedoms, and your Rights
This is a ridiculous argument... if I had the money I would move to the U.S. because it's clearly one of the last remaining nations that truly
respects liberty and individual freedom, especially compared to other nations which are quickly morphing into massive socialist nanny states which
strip all liberty from their citizens. Let me ask, would you rather live in Hong Kong or somewhere else in China? As I explained in
this thread, unlike the rest of China, Hong Kong actually has a very free market
capitalist system, and as a result their GDP and Human Development Index is ridiculously higher than the rest of China. That is the primary reason
China will never let them leave, they are a financial power house, Wikipedia states "According to the Index of Economic Freedom,[20] Hong Kong has had
the highest degree of economic freedom in the world since the inception of the index in 1995." and "On the Human Development Index, it ranks the
highest in Asia and seventh in the world, and it has one of the world's highest life expectancies". Hong Kong is ranking near the top in all these
areas, and at the same time the rest of China led by the Communist Party is near the bottom of these rankings. They also have much less freedom than
Hong Kongers, especially when it comes to freedom of speech and freedom to criticize their government. So I'm sorry if I find your argument here
laughable but the reality is it is highly laughable, if you want freedom and liberty I can assure you that supporting hard socialism or communism is
going to achieve precisely the opposite.
