Yeah I agree. I spoke to a British colleague of mine and he talked about Charles vs Andrew and how they dislike each other and honestly, he cannot represent the crown in public but he still has all the wealth and privilege so he may have even less constraints now

Is this a cover move? Send Andrew into the public Abyss, only to have him control from a distance?

Too bad she didn't do it a long time ago, she knew for years and did nothing about it.

When is she going after the other ones for their crimes?

Shame on her for ignoring it in the past.

The Queen and British monarchy are an institution, I am no royalist - well I am actually but to the real king Jesus but that is another argument - But I do quite like some of the things the supposed royal's have done in the past though I do not believe they are in any way shape or form value for our money, that said she really had no choice Andrew is an utter disgrace and yet he used to be her favorite sprog, now perhaps she see's he is a bit of a bad apple.
Then again they are far from a normal family and they would never survive in the real world now would they.

Bible argument against rule by divine right.
yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we exist. And there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we exist.

Not that the queen rules but she is a very handy figure head for keeping certain powerful institutions and illegitimate people in places of power so they have to keep her in her place as to do otherwise would expose there own positions.

When I heard this on the telly this morning it was made to sound as if it was his decision

Therefore, I have asked Her Majesty if I may step back from public duties for the foreseeable future, and she has given her permission.

Sounds like business as usual for these pompous gits.

Casting pearls before swine, eh?!

I like the cut of your jib!!

But the sad truth is... it is a ploy to keep the entire RF out of investigations. The English M6 can only keep the lid on the whole sh# pot of pedos for so long...

The Queen is being protected by sacrificing a drone.

Reality is... something is rotten within the Monarchy that they are still trying to hide.

Read, learn, remember!

Honestly, I think it shows great integrity.

Our leaders should be the best of us (not the worst, as is so often the case).

Elizabeth!

(for some reason I'm imagining him with tears in his eyes saying "but mumsy, no fair!").

Well, for all you'all have said...at least she went public.

Yes, she let him write his own statement, and yes, the monarchy is a joke, BUT...compare that to the corrupt 'royalty' here in the US!! I mean, seriously!

So, yes, perhaps nothing changes in the monarchy, but I think it does a little. The next time Andrew shows his face he will be met with disdain and scoff.

Now what about Clinton, and so many others in THIS country?? Will they be met with the same???

I think not!

The whole thing is broken, the people running the broken system are broken, to get into any sort of position to even attempt a fix, demands favours and corruption to get there in the first place, the system can never fix itself when the system is the problem and always has been since the start.

All of this nonsense does not matter but we keep playing "lets pretend" and that's the way it is so ill pretend too...

Yeah! We are win now!

The big answer will come soon though I reckon, from the very cause of the problems by design and it will be accepted by the majority as some form of revelation no doubt as always. The history of the way we live is horrible, filled with injustice, murder, rape of the land and stealing of territory, slavery too and yet we all just paper this over like it is not still happening. Because most people just want a nice life for their families.

Anyways im getting ahead of myself just a little

The more exposed the RF is the more the people realize that they are just humans with many flaws and certainly not deserving of their monies and loyalty.

They are crumbling just like their castles.

I suppose Momma and the intelligence agency looked at the picture of him and Virginia Roberts and decided the photo was authentic. Then when Prince Andrew said in his most recent interview that he had a condition that prevented him from sweating which was contrary to Virginia Roberts take who said he was sweaty and stinky- the Queen Momma wasn't buying it. Good for her that she is acknowledging something is amiss here. Too bad she didn't care when mischievousness was reported occurring on "royal property" in the past. Maybe she could have stopped children from being molested.

On a side note: why in the world do people still idolize Royalty especially in a modern western world ? They get to live off the backs of the tax payers because of bloodlines? It is far past time to let that way of worship go. Although I will admit the crowns and jewels are awesome.

Technically, no.

There are a lot of restriction on what he can and cannot do. Its not as if he can just go out and announce that he's rich and famous and wait for a big company to make him CEO. If he takes advantage of his royal connections like that he will be sanctioned. And he still can't go anywhere he wants as he will be surrounded by paparazzi. He's essentially under house arrest, but with a few more privilages.

This is why people like him hang around with people like Epstein. When you live in the public eye you appreciate having friend with private islands. Its the only way that you get the kind of things that normal people take for granted. Like privacy.

I dont think there was any choice in the matter. Great integrity would be if she had done it before Epstein fiasco.

She has to think of a public image of the family. Esptein thing is wide in the open. The whole world knows about it.

Anyway...am not impressed.

Exactly..

"You made us look silly!" is all this was.

he was told to stand down, and made it public, as if it was his decision. The queen did no such thing as 'sack' her son.

this is more pomp than a brigade of fat men saying "don't eat all the cheese!"

must not appear to be a blight on the royals.. one must never..
