I think it's ironic you think it's ironic people don't trust the media in our current political atmosphere.

No one should trust all media (any, really IMO. No trust then verify, just verify)... But acting like anything that happens against a politician on the right is a product of "leftist media" would be just as disingenuous as when the left says they're victims of talk radio and right wing pundits.

It's up to us to think critically, and be skeptical of all media collectively, and decide if someone is guilty or not in circumstances like this.

To be honest, I don't know much about the case, and haven't looked into the "evidence" yet, hence why I've worded all of my posts as allegedly. But dismissing him just because of "left wing media" or conflating him with anything to do with Trump is just dangerous partisan bias IMO. How are we every going to root out bad politicians if every time someone tries to go after them, supporters scream foul?

It's Israel's attorney general not the media who has charged Netanyahu.
It's Trump not the media who has caused his impeachment troubles.

You credit the media with too much , unless you think everyone in your country is stupid and unable to think for themselves , granted this site shows many are but not all.

Well if you know where to go to look at the evidence then please link it because I can't find it. Hence my comment it looks like what the leftwing media is doing to Trump. I bolded the important part so you quit attributing absolutes to a post that doesn't do that.

I don't think we should assume guilt either, but I don't see how a prosecutor deciding there is enough evidence to indict has anything to do with media, unless the allegations against him are true, and he unlawfully loaded the media landscape in his favor with the use of his power.

And while we're on the subject of media and Bibi. What context are you speaking of this in? Israeli media, or ours?

Thank you. I've read some Haaretz articles, but from what I've gathered, they're quite critical of him. I'm trying to find some other Israeli sources that publish in English so google translate doesn't wash some intended vocabulary expressing nuance.

This is seriously bad news for the people of Israel. Their military is in a low level war with Iran, indeed the IDF attacked 20 Iranian bases / targets I Syria yesterday and the people are anticipating some attack in retaliation from Iran or their proxies in Lebanon and Gaza, or even a direct attack by Iranoans. Now the strongman is going to face charges and nobody in politics over there can form a governing coaltion. Israel is effectively leaderless
