Hi ATS friends!! Happy Hanukkah, and Merry upcoming Christmas! I hope everyone is enjoying the holidays so far.
I finally got a little time to sit down and research the area so I could make some suggestions for our Boston invasion/visit!
One thing that has already been established is that there will probably be some people drinking
. I'll try to leave it up to others (anyone in the
area have suggestions here?) to figure out the best place to do that.
I haven't gotten very far yet in my research, but did find some places that piqued my interest-- let me know if you agree!
I love Lou's suggestion for the Museum of Bad Art (lol!). I am flying in on Friday 4/24, though, so if everyone else is not so interested in seeing
bad art, I could try to check it out then. It is closed at the moment for renovations anyway, so it may or may not be an option in April. Here's
their website in case you want to check it out

I'm really into history so wouldn't mind checking out the harbor to see tea stuff and the USS Constitution-- "the world's oldest commisioned warship
afloat" and "Boston's Freedom Trail" (sounds so wonderfully patriotic like Freedom Fries
)

I wouldn't mind checking into the spot criticalstinker recommended for food.
Here's some other interesting stuff in the vicinity (interesting stuff but probably too far to see during our meetup)
There's the Bridgewater Triangle, home to plenty of ATS fodder like UFOs and Bigfoot and ghosts

And historians take pilgrimages to this depository for historical documents and texts (describes as a second Library of Congress)

So there's a few ideas from me... what do you think, friends?
