“We’ve worked together on getting some of our allies to pay their fair share,” Mr. Trump said in an April meeting at the White House with the NATO secretary general, Jens Stoltenberg. “It’s called burden sharing. And as you know, when I came, it wasn’t so good, and now it’s—they’re catching up.”
While in London, Mr. Trump and first lady Melania Trump will attend a reception hosted by Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace, the White House said.
Mr Trump and other leaders are due to hold a morning working session at the luxury Grove hotel — and golf course — north-west of central London. No lunch is scheduled, leaving leaders free for bilateral meetings — or a visit to the nearby The Making of Harry Potter studio tour or to do some Christmas shopping.
As one European diplomat put it: “If Trump is in London that close to an election, what’s he going to say — not just about Nato, but everything else?”

Soooo, it seems as though Trump is meeting the queen a lot. This is his 3rd visit in 3 years.
Checked out O and he visited 4 times in 8 years.
Thinking the queen recognizes they need Trump's economic savvy to get through Brexit.
Oh, and I think she appreciates nationalism as she watches her kingdom ....? Help me out folks, what is the right word here?
The charity’s application to open a shelter for women who escape sex trafficking has been held up for more than 16 months, despite San Diego County — where the shelter would be located — facing a crisis of more than 5,000 victims forced into the sex trade annually, according to court documents.
A Catholic charity has sued California for blocking the opening of its refuge for sex-trafficking victims, saying the state would not license the shelter because of the charity’s religious beliefs.
State regulators put the kibosh on Children of the Immaculate Heart’s shelter because it refused to promote LGBTQ events, facilitate abortions or provide transgender hormones, according to the lawsuit.
