Looks like the Judge in the General Flynn case denied the defenses request for more documents hidden by the DOJ. They have scheduled his sentencing for next month.

So, let me get this straight. They KNOW that there is exculpatory evidence that the DOJ has willfully hidden from the defense. The judge just does not care and said, "screw you - you dont get these documents." How is this allowed?

Depending on the district, a District Court judge can be assigned an *average* of over 300 cases, both criminal and civil.

Setting a hearing date on any given matter is a function of the judge having :30 minutes of available court time; criminal cases take precedence over civil; the availability of the various attorneys on the case ...

Edit: In the meantime, the judge had to resolve the issues pending before him, which may or may not have required a sentencing date depending on his ruling.
