An update on my own searches Mama. I could not find this Jon Hub nor America News Today. I did however find Steve Quale.

His website is a plethora of stuff selling prepper supplies, Armageddon prophesy, doomsday forecasts and other stuff like that here is his website where I found this accusation listed under all the rest of the stuff he is ''reporting''

While looking for other sources on this statement I noticed that all the sites I could find that are repeating this story all use the very same picture of Pelosi which leads me to think that the whole thing is just repeats of repeats all likely stemming from that satire site I posted above.

The money she put in has already been tallied and spent by the generation before her. She's now collecting benefits from younger folks paying in. Its pooling of communal resources and doling it out to people in need. Its hard for it to be more socialistic.

Considering I tracked down your source and posted it in this thread, I hope every member that reads this thread reports it to be moved to LOL.

there are a lot of Democrats that get social security, just as many as there are Republicans I would guess. Now I think if Nancy did say this, which is possible since she puts her foot in her mouth all the time, I think that it will hurt the Democratic party a real lot. Many of the taxpayers and voters in their middle age have parents or relatives on social security and they will not take well to Pelosi running a coup on senior citizens.

It may just be a statement she made to people in her group, but now if it happens, we know who threw out the idea. The far left are evil people. Maybe the government should freeze all of her assets and hold all their income for a few months to show her how it is to be dependent on income. She is a rich bitch who does not really care who she hurts as long as she gets her way. If she sees my post, I hope it opens her eyes and she changes her attitude, anything is possible. Most people are not inheritantly bad, their behavior is bad, there is always a way to change that.

And that is exactly what this kind of thing is for LSU. People print stuff that ''sounds like' something someone would say, be it Pelosi or Trump. Once it gets going around the links add up until it's all over the place.

So for some it is credible because ''it sounds like'' what they believe that person would say. And that is why we are here on ATS. to deny that kind of ignorance when we find it. Well, at least that is why I am here. Why are you here?

I once got caught posting something I thought ''sounded like'' to my senses only to have it pointed out to me that I had been ''goofed'' and I checked it out and admitted my own foolish error.

Thanks Xc. To support an earlier post of mine about the picture of Pelosi, yep, that is the same picture that is being used in all the sources I could find, all stemming from the satire site most likely.

Social Security is social wellfare, which is one of socialism many guises. Regular pension funds are not social wellfare, so you are arguing apples to oranges in a sense. It really seems like you're trying to split hairs here because you may have some cognitive dissonance enjoying its benefits while simultaneously being gung-ho against socialism (just a conjecture of course).

I made the payments no one else

attempting to put social security and medicade (also which is withdrawn from my paycheck) as welfare or entitlements is a nice trick

I paid for those things no matter how you attempt to spin I did not.

Ah I see you're confusion now.

The money you've paid in has been used by someone a generation older than you already. Your money is gone.


When you get older, you will (maybe) receive your social security benefits from a much younger person paying into the fund's money. You will in essence be handed someone elses' money. Another person earned money, which the government then collected as mandatory taxes and then redistributed to you in the form of social wellfare.

Nancy is a walking living breathing form of satire .

So I view that article as confirmation .
