Does anyone know what this symbol represents?

The dollar sign at the top maybe suggests some kind of cult where people sacrifice their lives to the God of money. Or suffer for the God of money.

Maybe the three rows represent and the center spike represent Marx's class structure of capitalism. The dollar sign represents the capitalists. The first cross represents the workers. The second cross represents the petite bourgeoisie. And the third lowest cross represents the lowest layer of society which is flat like a road because this class is stepped on by everyone else.

I. Capitalists, or bourgeoisie, own the means of production and purchase the labor power of others

II. Workers, or proletariat, do not own any means of production or the ability to purchase the labor power of others. Rather, they sell their own labor power.

Class is thus determined by property relations, not by income or status. These factors are determined by distribution and consumption, which mirror the production and power relations of classes.

The Manifesto of the Communist Party describes two additional classes that “decay and finally disappear in the face of Modern Industry”:

iii. A small, transitional class known as the petite bourgeoisie own sufficient means of production but do not purchase labor power. Marx's Communist Manifesto fails to properly define the petite bourgeoisie beyond “smaller capitalists” (Marx and Engels, 1848, 25).

iv. The “dangerous class”, or Lumpenproletariat, “the social scum, that passively rotting mass thrown off by the lowest layers of the old society.”

As with all symbols, their power only exists in the eye of the beholder.

So then I'm guessing it's protection against thieves and a spiritual lock on the door of sorts.

No. That is way too complex for a brand, too difficult to get on evenly when the cow is not cooperating.

They can get very intricate and large sometimes needing more than one iron.They do often have the little circles shown on the door. Ah I see someone found Andromalius (Demon)
