Does anyone know what this symbol represents?

So, I was just flicking though my uploaded images and noticed this one. I guess I uploaded it a few years ago to ask if anyone here knew what it meant, but just never got around to it.

The image is of a symbol that was on the front door of my brothers house ever since he first moved in. He's actually sold the property now, but still, I'm fascinated to know what that symbol represents. I mean, no one solders a symbol like that into there front door for no good reason, right?

I actually lived there for a while, which is probably when I uploaded the image. it was just a large rural property.

There were actually some pictures in the guest toilet from the old owners, one was of a piglet with the caption 'save Wilbur' and the other was of a fully tattooed hand with an intricate pattern... So they were most likely just hippies, I guess.

I suppose its probably just some new aged witch craft nonsense. But, I'm bored and thought I'd take a shot in the dark to see if anyone here knows what it actually means.

It could be someones ranch cattle brand.

Very Weathervane like.

It has a kind of Jesuit or Norse feel to it. Other than that no idea. It will be interesting to see if someone can identify it.

No. That is way too complex for a brand, too difficult to get on evenly when the cow is not cooperating.

Wasn't that a symbol found on Oak Island?

HAHAHAHAA...

It resembles a hobo symbol, it could very well be one. I did a picture search and don't see anything religious that looks like that.

Looks a bit like a sigil. Do a pic search for "Lesser Key of Solomon " or "Goetia Demons" for comparison.

That was exactly my first thought, too. A sigil.

So, it could mean anything, except to whose it is..

Andromalius

The Seventy-second spirit in Order is named Andromalius. He is an Earl, Great and Mighty, appearing in the form of a Man holding a Great Serpent in his Hand. His Office is to bring back both a Thief, and the Goods which be stolen; and to discover all Wickedness, and Underhand Dealing; and to punish all Thieves and other Wicked People; and also to discover Treasures that be Hid. He ruleth over 36 Legions of Spirits. His Seal is this, the which wear thou as aforesaid, etc.

Ummm...when you lived there...did you ever discern anything...out of the ordinary...?

Feel anything interacting with your personal energy grid...?

Did it feel any differently inside the house...than outside...?

Honest questions deserve honest answers...

Seriously, no, not at all.

I even lived there for 3 months totally on my own well my brother was overseas on long services leave.

I've lived and been to plenty of places which just didn't feel right to me. But at this place, I always felt totally at ease.

But... if I was to be honest and get all superstitious, there probably was a darkness in that house.

It just didn't involve me.

Yeah thanks dude, I think you just hit the nail on the head. That's exactly what that symbol is.

Now I just got to do some research to see why the previous owners put that specific symbol on there front door.

Ummm...the second part of your post is the interesting part...because I did ask for honesty...

It isn't superstitious and overly stigmatic to admit you sensed the unordinary...

It just means you've exercised those particular talents before...

As for not involving itself with you...how would you really know...?

Yeah exactly, that's why I identify as Agnostic. How could you ever really know, one way or the other?

Just hold true to yourself, then just take as it comes... what else can ya do?

I would assume, given the meaning of the sigil, that it is to say to others that if you steal from this place, you will be caught, the goods returned and you will be duly punished.

Though perhaps not so much of a warning given no one really reads sigil. More a spell over the place.

From the Daemonolatry Goetia by S. Connolly

“Andromalius works well for execration and protection. Invoke him as a ward in your home to protect against theft or harm against you by other
people. Wear his lamen when going out alone or going to dangerous places.”
