I dont get it. The only way that would work if nobody but you and the guilty know about the material you posses. Once you release it into the public domain, you're essentially "saved". It makes no longer any sense to harm the holder of the video, but eventually go for meat in the video. Potential witnesses and all...

The whole thing has worked better than O’Keefe could have hoped.

Also, it appears the dead mans switch isn't for new material, rather this "bombshell" story. This per James quoted in the infowars link-

“I take our security very very seriously, we have a lot of people in Project Veritas involved in this story and I just meant that whatever happens we’re gonna publish the story tomorrow morning…and we’ve gotten the attention of some very powerful people,” said O’Keefe.

Sounds like he was pandering to drum up the story.

Literally nothing. The only difference between him and us, is he's making money off of a trivial story.

And I say trivial, because all the members you're referring to have known and said the media has been suppressing Epstein stories.

Sure O'Keefe isnt perfect. No doubt he will use any "bombshell" (hate that term) info he has to increase his own brand. Sucks, but thats the world we live in. Im guilty of that as well to a far far lesser degree.

But I find all of the vitriol toward him to be hilarious. We have almost the enitrity of the msm that most of the people who control the public discourse call "legitmate news sources" actually buring damning stories about Epstein because it implicates themselves and their elite allies.

Yet it seem more vitriol is reserved for O'Keefe for outing them, because he didnt do it in a way that everyone liked.

The real story is how we have no free [ress anymore; they protect pedophiles to try to win elections. They make up stories to take down a president they dont like. And it works

My calling out is out of disappointment. I had only wished it were anything more substantial. For me the point is...will this "bombshell" put a noose on someone's head ? If not, then it's no more valuable than your average reality show.

How does this equation actually work, not just regarding this but Snowden and others also... Sincere question because i want to know.

I don't think O'Keefe is bad... I just don't think he's the savior many paint him out to be.

This story was trivial, it's something we all already knew. The story did nothing wrong, but he would have been better off selling it for what it was.

If he comes out with something substantial, I'll change my tune.

He often over promises on his releases. thats why I never get to excited until I see the material.

To me, this story yesterday wasnt any new info. But it was an admission by an anchor of a major netwrok that they buried the story into epstein, and that may wake more people up.

The bigger story is the rest of the msm almost entirely ignoring the story. Its just further proof that none of these msm outlets are legitimate, they all protect pedophiles as soon as it could affect them or their allies.

As I posted earlier, his dead mans switch eluded to releasing this story. He never said who threatened him other than "powerful people"... If they were really powerful, they would have tapped his communications and devices and saw this wasn't really a big deal. So are we to believe the "powerful" people were ABC execs or something?

The dude oversold a story, exploiting the frustration of many people like the ATS community on a story western governments ave been screwing the pooch on. I can't praise him for that.

That's a very silly thing to say on a conspiracy site. If you had information that may be damning to people in power, would you truly trust any law enforcement agency to actually do anything with it?? I sure as hell would not. There's nothing stopping them from beginning to look into it, having someone up top tell them to stop, bury the info, and get rid of you. This sort of thing happens all of the time, hell, it even happens where I live. Here a police officer had a bunch of evidence hidden in a storage shed, only to be found when he forgot to pay his bill and someone bought it at an auction. The officer got a slap on the wrist.

If I were in possession of high-quality evidence against those in power, I'd do it this way as well. You get as many people as you can interested, you let it out there and once enough people see it, then the #-storm that happens afterwards will be what forces law enforcement agencies to look into it. Sure, there's no guarantee anything would happen, but I feel you have a greater chance of justice with the masses knowing and yelling over it than you would just giving it to people who'd make it go.......PooF.

Perhaps. Or one could argue, due to explosive nature of the story...nobody wants in without irrefutable proof being handed to them. Finding yourself on the wrong end of this could be potentially damaging to MSM.

I am not so sure. I thought about that a few years back. If there is a higher truth about 9/11, truth about treason within US ranks, or the white house...I think that nobody would ever dare to expose it. Even if you had nothing to do with it.

Why do I think that ? because once the horrible truth would come out, the very institution of US presidency would be forever tainted. But not just the prez. Who would ever trust the govt ? And what about worldwide fallout ? How would other countries now view the US ?

I think there are truths that go above partisanship for both sides. Those in the loop understand that by revealing truth bombs, the nation as a whole will get hurt...globally.

I for one appreciate his slow releases... When he released the report yesterday, we quickly had ABC and the anchor issue statements.... Now, we have ABC and the anchor on record stating "this is why we didn't run the story, etc. etc. etc"... Now James/Project Veritas releases something additional today, maybe the info he has contradicts what ABC/Anchor said yesterday to give more credibility to his earlier releases and all future releases..... I think its all a ploy to trap the ABC execs/anchor, they believe this was all he had, so they issued their statements and did their damage control, what they didn't know is that Project Veritas has more releases and a person within ABC who's working for them.... I think yesterday was just the tip, and I believe we have more damning stuff coming soon... just my two cents

Also, James not releasing everything seemingly keeps him alive... similar to that one guy people used to talk about from Wikileaks, oh yea, Julian Assange, that guy...
