Cant really argue with your stance, you make excellent points.

I will however counter with this; despite obvious plot holes and a clear agenda, The Witcher has captivated two rather large and intended audiences. Followers of the book and games as well as game of thrones fans with a fantasy void to fill.

There is clearly a market but a large emptiness of fantasy television.

I'm disappointed that everyone is so pretty. Despite Netflix's history of agenda driven programming, I've been a fan of how they tend to cast their actors. People that look real, but unique from each other. Not the witcher unfortunately.

So far, it's definitely scratching that itch left after Game of Thrones. Loving it.
