Red Dead Redemption 2 might be up your ally... It's visually stunning and quite immersive.

I had fun with Boarderlands 3 which is a good looter shooter RPG. Division is in the same realm, though I found myself burnt out after a while until their survival mode comes out.

You can get it on Microsoft game pass. First month is like a dollar.

So you can try it before you buy it.

Half Life 2

But i don't think it will run on that being low spec and all..

You might need a better gpu and more ram..

Another vote for The Outer Worlds.

I've also been revisiting Frostpunk recently and am having a blast with that as well... Sort of an RTS city builder survival game.

I've also heard a lot of good things about Borderlands 3 and Greedfall as well.

That's nice looking machine and with specs to match , in terms of graphics the new Call of Duty looks incredible and supports ray tracing so that'll give your 2070 a chance to stretch its legs , if gameplay with pretty visuals is more your bag The Outer Worlds maxed out looks sweet and it has gameplay in bucket loads.

I have the strix scar II... almost the exact same laptop, but with the i7

Which means you have a mini display port on that puppy...

Grab a Rift S and jump into VR... You won't regret it

if you like a really wierd RPG that doesnt involve combat , take a look at Disco Elysium.

Far from boring though , heavy dialog based rpg , yet super strange.

And check Kerbal space program , it is a sandbox game where you build rockets or other stuff and send them to outer space or other planets.
Real space physics , but on scale.

Super super hard learning curve if you don't know anything about orbital mechanics and stuff , but well worth to learn.

Also as FPS games i enjoy Battlefield 5 and Hunt:showdown.

Hunt:showdown is a pretty unforgiving game , but that one i really enjoy , that game gets you shaking from the adrenaline.

The hardware in that laptop is super sweet btw , grats on that.
