It's easy to know. They attack and defame all Christian things, anyone who is a Christian, plus that poster admitted to once having been a church elder which is even much worse. You don't become a church elder lightly or halfheartedly.

Like most Christians, you see any disagreement with your tenets of faith as an attack from the "devil" himself. That's right, you aren't appointed as an elder lightly, nor do you accept it lightly. At the time, I was as deceived as any other Christian, and did my best to preach, teach, and counsel by the "direction of the Holy Spirit". You're only doing the same thing as before, projecting false assumptions about others in order to defame them.

It has nothing to do with satan, or maybe it does, but I have never mentioned anything like that, but here you are again defaming and bearing false witness against someone else to bolster your own needs. Where will that take you? Only you will know. And now you say you were deceived that being a Christian church elder was a good thing, how pathetically dishonorable that is and it counts against only you, and no one else. From that high position in a church all the way down to spiritual darkness is quite a leap down. I pity you.

The Lord WILL show you the pure truth of yourself one day with no deception possible. Best be prepared.

That would depend on the church he was a church elder for, wouldn't it? The church doesnt have immunity when it comes to being deceived or deceiving. Nor are they innocent of managing to deeply hurt some of their own at times with their power struggles, unnecessary judgements, and callous assertions of what the bible says and that their interpretations are right and none other should be entertained.

So instead of blaming goofed up people at a church, lets just blame God and demote ourselves to oblivion?

Put the blame where it belongs rather than shirk all responsibility for your life, then forgive and move on with things.

Or become bitter and obsessed with vengeance and attack everyone because someone at a crummy church hurt you? Which is better?
