Breaking: DOJ Launches Criminal Investigation Seeks Charges In Russia Probe

Breaking news: The DOJ is now seeking criminal charges
against some of those who were involved in setting up
the 2016 Russian Collusion case. The DOJ has opened
up a an official criminal inquiry and will begin subpoenaing
witnesses for testimony and documents.

The Justice Department has reportedly opened a criminal investigation into its own Russia probe.

The New York Times reports that the administrative review opened after former special counsel Robert Mueller closed his official investigation months ago will shift to become a criminal inquiry. The Justice Department is looking at how the investigation of Russian interference into the 2016 presidential election and Trump's alleged collusion with Russia "all began."

Attorney General Bill Barr has closely reviewed how the department handled the Russia investigation. But shifting the administrative review to a criminal inquiry would allow the prosecutor, John H. Durham to subpoena for witness testimony and documents, people familiar with the matter told The Times. DEVELOPING

A federal investigation into the Trump-Russia probe — which is essentially looking into claims that the FBI's probe into President Trump's 2016 campaign was influenced by anti-Trump sentiments — has evolved into a full-fledged criminal inquiry, two people familiar with the matter said, per the New York Times.

So the rumors were true, and Attorney General William Barr
and John Durham must have found very significant evidence
to move this investigation in seeking criminal charges to
those who were involved.

This is a very significant development, surely there are a few
people I can think are panicking now. Names off the top
would be John Brennan, James Clapper, James Comey,
perhaps Peter Strzok and even Christopher Steele.

I can't help but wonder if Andrew McCabe turned
and flipped and coughed up some seriously hard stuff.

I'm amazed the New York Times was the first publication to report it. The NYT and WaPo were two media outlets that participated in SpyGate, to sink candidate and President Trump.

Interesting, yes very. I am trying to find the article,
google seems to be hiding the NYT edition.

Supposedly a reporter has some info she tweeted,
trying to warn the conspirators apparently.

This explains why the "peach mints" rush to
churn the Enema Media waters with hype
and no vote. Desperate people will do desperate
things. I am betting that someone flipped.

I think, if all the information comes out, this is going to be the biggest abuse of power by our government in recent memory. A prior administration weaponizing the intelligence agencies, spying on a candidate/President-Elect/President, fraudulently obtaining FISA warrants, and working with many levels of a corrupt and complicit media to overturn the results of an election that they were embarrassed and furious that they lost.

My hope are that they have indeed come across some iron clad evidence, hence opening a criminal investigation........but part of me still thinks it is too big, that the government will eventually protect itself and pretty much bury this to some extent. hope I am wrong on that tho.

The "Timing" of information releases will be in perfect harmony with the rattling knees and trembling jaws 😎

The first paragraph is the news.

The rest of the six pages is all about Barr and abuse of power, Trump is a dictator, etc.

So yep... damage control.

I remember that President Trump told us there would be
things in there that were so unreal we would hardly
be able to believe it.

Sad times for the United States as it is never
a win for the country when people abuse positions
and offices of power. If allowed unchecked,
that would utterly destroy the county. As it
is there is a deep fracture, perhaps if those
who led the abuse are finally punished it
might allow some house cleaning and healing.

...Knew it was already here. Rudy Giuliani's been talking about it since February! We know Bill Barr went to Italy to get dirt, and the whole "Ukrainian One" excuse is that Ukraine was being asked to help with an ongoing investigation.

They had to announce it, especially after Bill Barr's name came up in the phone call transcript!

The timing of this announcement, however, is quite transparent. It's a distraction from all the very bad information that came of out of all the damning testimony's in the House depositions.

Not quite, Barr opened this investigation just days
after the Muller report. Sorry,, he beat them to it.

It is the other way around actually, they had to come
up with a fake story to try and make peach mints.

I didn't say they just opened it. Obviously it's been open since Barr hired Durham. But, its formal announcement and the announcement of a criminal reference is new information.
