Objection: ignores facts already in evidence.

I don't chant anything, it is you whom have a beef with the POTUS because he doesn't kowtow to your socialist ideals. You know full well the POTUS hasn't done anything and the only reason he is being impeached is because he is not a globalist. Here is the thing though. If this sham continues and your masters do impeach the POTUS, don't expect us to take it and allow your socialist utopia to be implemented in the U.S. Keep this going and you will see what real Americans are made of.

The only problem is that they have already started impeachment and don't plan on stopping. The "vote" is nothing but a sham. Democrats, I mean socialists will not stop at any cost. These aholes really do want a new civil war.

Wanted to drop this into this thread to address what seems to be the main argument of Gryphon66, that House rules can delegate 'the sole Power of Impeachment' to some committee. I'm sure I will be corrected if I am wrong.

Understanding why any formal impeachment inquiry requires the participation of the whole House in the form of a vote, requires understanding of the legal maxim Delegata potestas non potest delegari.

The House of Representatives was delegated the sole Power of Impeachment. That extra-ordinary and awesome Power cannot itself be delegated to some committee that didn't even exist when the Constitution was written.

That Power can only be wielded by The House of Representatives. The whole House. Nothing else suffices.

One more thought on this particular angle...

Because this very specific delegation of the sole Power of Impeachment is to the HoR, that also means that, not only does the House have to vote on the initiation of an impeachment inquiry, it also means that any member of the HoR - any member - has the same Power as any other member, when it comes to the right to ask questions of witnesses.

When Adam Schiff denies anyone - Republican or otherwise - the right to call witnesses or ask questions of witnesses that are testifying, they do so in direct violation of the Constitutional delegation of the sole Power of Impeachment, because that delegation is to the whole House, not any one individual or group of individual members.

So I just started a new thread on what the Republicans should do, now that I've proven my case that it is the whole HoR that has the sole Power of Impeachment, not the Speaker, and not some committee chair...
