Nationwide uptick in sales of semiautomatic rifles and ammunition

I was curious so I polled many online retailers that sell firearms and ammunition and so far all of them have said sales are way up. Several merchants indicated political tension being at the root of the cause. Several vendors are publishing warnings on their respective sites for customers to expect shipping delays due to the increased demand. There is still a lot of ammunition out there but popular rifles are selling out quickly it seems. Pistols and pistol ammunition is not as much effected. The shortages are strictly on lower to mid priced semi-automatic rifles.

Hunting season is right around the corner.

In my home town, it's Bow season.
Open rifle season for deer is in a few weeks- if I wasn't broke I'd be considering a new rifle, too.

I think you are right on that. I would bet that Beto likely sold 100,000 rifles in a few days.

Lots of popular ammo is getting snapped up and the best deals are quickly going out of stock.

There's no better way to sell something than to project to the customer that if they don't buy now they might miss out.

Perhaps you could use your imagination and think a little deeper. Corruption rules and a little donation here and there can make all sorts of things happen, start there.

Yea, just as soon as my ammo can arrived, three of my neighbors dropped dead. Right there in the yard, just dropped, like an egg. It was a bit sad, but then I realized, if I was fast, I could grab all their stuff before anyone knew. So I call it a win, win, with a little sadness. Good news is, I got over it, so I'm pretty happy now. And I got some cool new stuff.

Not hollow point it plainly says ballistic tip. Thats the biggest problem we have people against having rifles have no clue about them.

A 55 grain 5.56mm Nosler polymer tip is to small for deer. That is the round I use for prairie dogs and coyotes. I get $20 each to bring in prairie dogs and $50 for coyotes from local ranchers, or a trade for an equal value of beef. They trade me steaks like rib eyes four pounds for 1 prairie dog. Those I can typically take out 6-10 of them in a morning. Basically my time, gas, and, 35 cents for each round in the bulk I purchase. Average is 200-300 yard shots on prairie dogs. 100-150 for coyotes. These varmints will kill or cause the loss of a lot of cattle in their lives.

I did the same when I lived in Texas, I've taken some smaller hogs with the same round. The bigger hogs my buddy would usually let em have it with something in .308.
