Note: Wasn’t sure where to post this, so I figured this was the best forum. I did a google search and didn’t find anything.

Is anyone noticing some weird glitches going on with mobile data usage and internet issues? I’ve got several people here in the Cincinnati area texting me and I’m getting duplicate texts coming through and they are saying they’re having issues.

I also noticed some duplicate posts popping up on the comments section of Reddit. A few people on my FB feed are saying they have no internet and it’s within their entire town/city in different places around the country.

My thought is 5G towers are starting to be rolled out more and more and maybe they’re jacking everything up, or maybe it’s just a bunch of random coincidences.

I’ve also noticed that iPhones are going through a ton of software and app updates lately. I don’t know if any of it is relevant or connected or not. Just curious if anyone else is noticing anything similar out there.

Thanks for pointing that out. I did a search but admittedly didn’t go back very far. But at least I’m not alone in noticing this.

I have to be up on such .
Applying patches puts a serious load on devices.

That is why i am holding on to my Windows phone until the very very last day , it is just so easy to work and no constant fiddling or updates , pity they could not manage that with their computer division

It is curious with companies who are rolling 4G/5G connections, Verizon in the US and EE in the UK, being affected.

Suddenly..like today the penny has dropped, a guy from the electricity NI board called at my house, wanting to know who owned the fields, (A) across the road from my house and (B) at the back and side of my house.
Both fields are bordering on the road, both sides are full of trees, on my side of the road they are pesky willows, on the other side they are much older stuff, like Oaks, pretty rotten in our humid, damp climate...but that is almost beside the point, the point being, the trees IMHO are interfering with phone masts reception, and continuity perhaps.
The guy didn't mention phone masts, he might not even know..I can't say that for sure, as It was my wife who spoke to him, but he was most interested in the field on the other side of the road, to clear trees there to protect the power lines..that are actually on my side of the road, however the view toward there is also a line to a media mast in the Mourne Mountains, secondary to a mast situated in Belfast's black mountain.
The guy also mentioned about the Ivy covered cable poles, which would be both BT, (EE) and electricity boards responsibility, while that would lie in the use of tree surgeons.
Again, IMHO, it is vegetation, plantations and the like that are problematic to the super fast comms scenario.
