Depends on the plan, or overall goal. His desire is to be known as America's greatest president. If he thinks the optics of a bipartisan independent ticket will better serve that purpose, no reason to keep Pence. Especially if he's the real thing, and really fighting the system. Also being the first independent president after the republicans and democrats have held the title has a nice ring to it I'm sure.

Maybe, but if for some reason trump would be unable to preform his duties, we would be stuck with a president that neither republican or democrat voters wanted.

Sounds like a bad idea to me.

And when both sides block him and Tulsi on everything both parties would be done forever. It would be the nail in their coffin.

The voting sheep would never go for it.
Gotta pull that blue/red lever at the voting booth.

I disagree entirely. I think it would waken up the sleeping dragon that is the majority of the US. Most voters don't vote because they think it makes no difference. This would be their chance to send a real message, the message many have been hoping for. The problem with most independents is that they don't have enough going for them. The powers would in this scenario have rejected both. There's no more symbolic way to reject the powers, and anyone who stood in their way would never be elected again.

" Trump isn't a true Republican though. He's only republican because he couldn't have made it to the primaries as a democrat.
"

I STRONGLY Disagree . His First Political Leanings as a Young Man were Towards the Mindset of Liberal Democrats .Only After he was Educated and Eventually " Came To His Senses " did Mr. Trump See the Republican Party as a " TOOL " to further his Great Vision of bringing to Fruition his Plans to Change the Face of Arrakis through Politics . I could be Wrong Though ............)

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he's a Democrat. He's Trump, which is neither. The Republican party is nothing more than a means to an end, one he couldn't have gotten with the Democrats, as we saw with last election and Bernie vs. Hillary.

I don't see Trump kicking out Pence, but Tulsi would be an epic choice for veep!

She is the only Dem on the stage who has still has decency and common sense, and it's clear the other Dems hate her because of this.

I'm honestly surprised she hasn't had a "walk away" moment yet.

If you believe either party is telling you the truth or cares about your constitutional protections, well...

You're meat to be devoured at their leisure. Both just take different paths to catch you in their trap.

No thanks to a gun grabber as vice-president. Not to mention it would make the Dims even more bold when it comes to impeachment.
