I think there still is a difference however. This guy in the OP's vid is actively preaching that it is fine to go out and commit crimes because you will be forgiven.
The christian churches generally as a rule (yes, there are exceptions) preach that you should live a sin free life, but should you catch on a bit of nonsense there is an "out", so to speak. Not saying giving the "out" is a good thing, but it's one hell of alot better than what the muslim dude is spewing.

To me this issue is not about what happens when you die, but what you believe, and are taught whilst alive.

So many people in this thread seem to be confusing 2 concepts:

"Someone who prays (is a muslim believer), but is a rapist or murderer or paedophile, is better than than someone who doesn't, but isn't any of those things" (a concept agreed with by all the Abrahamic religions, as well as a number of other religions, and what this preacher essentially said)

"If you murder or rape or abuse a child and then just say your prayers, all will be forgiven" (not at all what the preacher said)

So I'm not sure I see the difference here. The guy in the video was not 'actively' preaching anything in the line of what you said- he didn't suggest to anyone that it is good to go out and rape or murder or sexually abuse children, nor did he say that they would be automatically forgiven for it if they did, and then prayed.

He is basically just saying what any Christian preacher (for example) would:
"Jeffrey Dahmer: rapist, murderer, cannibal, but also born again Christian; is better than someone like Gandhi or the Dalai Lama (I admit there are problematic aspects to both these characters, feel free to pick another if you want): Dedicated to peace and betterment of humanity, but also non-christian".

This thread really has gone places, though . From the preacher, to oppressing women's rights to wear what they want, to the murderness of abortion, to comparisons to Trump supporters, to attacks on 'leftists'.
