And as far as the video, nice find and nice of you to bring it to our attention... appreciated.

I've seen strangely angular cloud formations and vague, massive triangles over my city that just might, might be massive airships with very good, but not perfect, active camouflage. Sometimes a shadow gives a clue.

This, alas, is most likely perfectly mundane and explainable ...but those airships (sure seem to) exist.

eta: and on a second look, that catch sure does seem to be at altitude and leaving a shadow below it... the perspective seems to change as if it was closer to the ISS than the ground. So ... neat-o.

Damn,
I didn’t mean any offence.

Now that I know you made the video, I feel bad,
because I know your not out to pull a hoax.
I thought it was a video you found from an outside source.

Usually though, any UFO related video with music in the background, I disregard as a hoax or an oddly shot IFO.

But at the same time, I understand how your trying to present the video, and of course you want people to watch it.

Good job on the video and it’s presentation.
Don’t listen to me. I’m old and cranky. Lol

Is it still there now I wonder? If not, we have a genuine mystery. Unless they're just taking a long rest stop.

Heh, so pretty much the same reaction and position as I and several hundred other people who were exposed to it.

Guess we'll see... maybe.

You ever write about your project .. .or can you?

Was it neater than a high tech blimp?

I've always yearned for travel by airship... better flight than the narrow cattle cars the public has now.

I haven’t written about it.

I’m not much of a writer.

But the head of the project did write about it.

The book is called ”Floating To Space - The Airship to Orbit Program”,

ISBN 978-1-894959-73-5

I wouldn’t call it a “thrilling read”, but it is informative.

Just by eyeballing it my estimate would be that the wingspan would have to be 50 miles wide at the least . I’ve seen photos of the great wall of China from the ISS orbit. And that object is a hell of a lot bigger .

Just for perspective 50 miles is about the distance between Fort Meyers Florida and Naples Florida.

That would be kind of hard to miss .

I read somewhere once that a passenger jet in perfect visibility conditions cruising at 25,000 feet . Could be seen at around 100 miles .

Might be true might not. In fact it seems kind doubtful . I couldn’t handle the math to find out .

Could someone do the calculations on a object with a 10 foot wingspan ?

Please

I can’t even find the formula so it’s really bugging me now .

Real men aren’t afraid to ask for directions . 🧐 lol

I don’t care what it’s about at this point. I’m just pondering the visibility of objects in the air over a long distance.

Didn’t you read my post ?

I'm not a sceptic about exotic craft etc. but it looks more like part of the terrain and circumstance is making a rather vague chevron shape.

If you can provide the exact time in UTC [GMT] you can ask www.wolframalpha.com for the location of ISS for any given date/time. Try it.
