Two bizarre things happened yesterday

Yesterday I was missing my daughter so I decided to facetime her.
I got on my tablet and tried but it would not go through. Somehow, at that exact, an I mean exact same moment
she was facetiming me......... It was not a normal time that we talk or ft each other either.
Total mom/daughter connection moment, just beautiful. I know there are some that will say mere coincidence. As a mom and also being a daughter, I know that there is something about this connection that science can't explain. Anyone else have this? I've heard a connection like this with twins too.

Last night I was relaxing and my aunt posts some old family photos. I ask her about them and she messages me some more information and some links to information about those ancestors. I go to that link, I'm talking to my husband and the second I start reading about them our house phone goes absolutely crazy making a bizarre beeping sound. (yes we have a landline) It was not due to low batter or anything. It is a sound I have never heard.
As soon as I picked up the phone it stopped, and hasn't made that sound again.

I know those that believe in the paranormal say that spirits can communicate through electronics, or sounds?

Some native American holy men call those moments "agreements from the world".
Once my nephew said he was going to help a poor kid at his school by bringing some extra food to share.
We were standing outside in my front yard. The second he completed the sentence a huge gust of wind came
up and blew his baseball cap off. The weather was calm as could be up till that moment.

When I was little (10-12 yrs old) I remember looking through an old trunk and I found a photo of a woman I had never met.
I took the photo to my mom...and she said it was a photo of her mother...(she was a recluse, lived far away and we never saw nor heard from her).

Just as mom was telling me...the phone rang.
It was her mother...and she wanted to talk to me.
Mom comes from a very old family of "witches"...so these things were not unusual to her...but it surprised the hell out of me.

How can that be a coincidence?

The human experience, goes far beyond scientific, and rational explanations.
It's experiences like you good folks describe here, that are never accepted by folks making causal and Materialistic arguments.

These sorts of 'weird' things happen, then vanish without a trace of proof in the physical world.

Yes! The feeling when my daughter and I were on the same "wavelength" was so warm, so lovely.

The feeling I got when the phone made that sound, it was weird. I am a jumpy person and a big scaredy cat, yet it did not
frighten me at all. I actually found it humorous. I wonder what ancestor wanted our attention.

the theory i like is that everything is ultimately one consciousness which gives us the ability to be telepathic.

Our technology is created to replace what our ancient ancestors knew how to train people to achieve telepathy and other psychic abilities

All the time with friends and family,

Just today for example, we were cooking a nice soup with my girlfriend, and as i was chopping down vegetables, and a memory hit me from fifteen years ago, that time when we had absolutely no money, and used these frozen vegetable bags for making soup,

so i said hey you member those times, she replied i member, funny you mentioned it, i was thinking the same thing.

does not sound much, but we make this food about once a week, and i never before thought about those times before when making this, so i asked about it from her, and she also said that she does not think about that detail often, or when making this food.

Truth, and just wanted to note that seeming magic or esp or any number of seemingly weird things is just "science" we haven't grasped yet.

It's possible there are aspects of this universe that defy rational analysis or categorization, but I bet not.

Yeah: it's a very nice sentiment to think about.
These invisible connections to loved-ones.

It's funny to think of that odd phone noise, as an ancestor reaching-out.
Or perhaps just their presence.

It's nice to see a thread containing some of the 'high-strangeness', that endears us to ATS, and also contains human warmth and Love.

My mom and I have done this many times over the years - where we are trying to call each other at the same time. It is confusing to have her on the line before it even rings - or to hear her dialing. My daughter - currently 9 - and I have had many minor psychic moments such as well.

I’ve not had such moments with my sons or my dad. I love them all very much, but the seemingly psychic moments seem to be a mother-daughter thing. I don’t know what that is or what it means... just a fun little “thing”.

I've had many moments with my mom, sister and daughters. A very startling one with my sister. Only one with my dad, and one with my brother.

Great experience, and showcase of internal connection with you and your daughter.

I've experienced this uncountable times with friends, lovers, family, and nature (things happening in the environment around me, within nature).

Synchronicity is apart of conscious nature imo.

When I was a child, many years ago, my brother and I liked to watch the t.v series Robinson Crusoe. It had a lovely classical theme music, that we both enjoyed. 50 years or so later, I was driving with my son to visit my brother and I was telling him about stuff that I enjoyed as a child. It brought back the memories of Robinson Crusoe, but I couldn't remember how the music went.
The thought went out of my head and we arrived at my brother's. During the visit, I went to the bathroom and when I came out my brother was whistling the very tune from all those years ago.

I want to use this opportunity to thank you for sharing your story. Abovetopsecret is my "morning newspaper" and i woke up feeling empty, hollow, it is hard to explain. Your post made me feel better and now i can reply, many hours later.

So you are a woman, you have a daughter, and you have a mom? That is true beauty. There might be connections there, we might call them "paranormal" now. But we might call them "science" later. Not now.

Here is what i have to offer, what i can share. It is not closely related but somewhat "in the same category"

It must have been over a decade ago. I was sitting with a good friend of mine in the park. We had a couple of fresh outdoor beers, we talk a lot but sometimes we have moments of silence. They were never awkward moments of silence, like something has to be said now. We just sat there at the green park. Late summer. Still warm, we both had our jackets off, the jackets were on the grass right next to us.

So there was many minutes of silence. My friend breaks the silence. He says "I am feeling hungry" And EXACTLY that moment, a squirrel ran down from a nearby tree. Squirrel continued running upon my friends jacket. That animal dropped a half of a peanut from the squirrel's mouth, on his jacket, and then the squirrel ran away as fast as a lightning bolt.

I will NEVER forget that

100% Correct, I used to take weirdness for granted but Alas...You have to have the mindset to appreciate it, or even recognize it. The world is far to distracting, to notice the subtle nature of The Divine...

I can't remember exactly what happened afterwards, but i remember there was no laughing. We stared at each other straight into the eyes for a while with dumb expressions on our faces. It was a strange moment. A dude says he is hungry, a squirrel comes and leaves a half of a peanut on his jacket and leaves. Come on! how can that even happen?
