The Syrian Kurdish-led authorities accused Turkey of shelling a prison holding Islamic State (IS) militants of more than 60 nationalities, calling this “a clear attempt” to help them escape.

Turkey shelled prison holding ISIS fighters

One day into the invasion and it appears Turkey is already attempting to free the ISIS fighters.

During the US-led fight against ISIS, Turkey was accused of allowing ISIS fighters to sneak across their borders. The reason is because Turkey sees the Kurds as their primary enemy. Since ISIS is an enemy of the Kurds then they are a friend to Turkey.

This is an accusation from the Kurds.

I'll take it as allegations until I see evidence myself. While I would rather side with the Kurds than the Turks, I still take any word of someone in conflict with another with a grain of salt.

Was that their intended target? Did it actually kill prisoners rather than "help them escape"? Are they compartmentalized to cells or held en masse?

The article was very short, and lately I've been skeptical of all major outlets as they only care about clicks, not presenting facts.

Turkey seems to forget, most of these terrorists in Syria just came through the Turkish border unimpeded.

Must be some extremely accurate shelling to be able to release them without killing them....

I propose this Thanksgiving, everyone dye the outside of their turkey to look like the Turkish flag, then eat it as we normally do.

You can't trust a country that forces you to come out of a closet before you visit.

And stuff it with cheese Kurds, as symbolism that they occupy part of turkey.

Real talk, this dish might not be half bad.

Freeing them?
From what?
Their earthly bonds.... by shelling the prison they in which are locked inside?
