You would amazed at how much better they taste out of an air fryer.

And yes the one problem is you want to make everything in there and there is no where near enough room.

So we are just going to get a second one so we can do our potatoes in one and whatever else in the other.

I think it would be a good business to start an air fryer restaurant. Everything is air fryed.

OMG!!!!

I love it. Yesterday, tater tots, 10 minutes! Crispier than I've ever got them in the oven. (I hate the mess of deep fryers, and they scare the heck out of me.)

Tonight? 2 T-BONE STEAKS!!!!!!!

12 minutes for mine, still pink in the middle a bit, 14 minutes for the hubby, barely any pink. I will only cook steaks on a charcoal grill, so that means none in the dark of winter.

They are great! So versatile, you can pretty much make anything in there!

Not long after the OP the widowed friend of my wife gave us an air fryer (she bought a bigger one for her and her father).

I have to say, I'm pretty impressed with this thing. It totally ROCKS for chicken wings! Best I've ever eaten! Pretty much sucks for anything large or massive. We tried doing a chicken in it...won't do that again. But for other stuff like french fries, tots, homemade fish sandwiches, chicken tenders...it works great. The thing will make hash browns better than any restaurant.

I don't agree on the comparison to an oven though, even a convection oven. The difference is huge, and the reason is the air volume inside in oven is far greater. The air fryers get hot fast, and they move a lot more air through a much smaller volume of space, so you get crispy like fried but not overdone in the center.

Color me suitably impressed. And best of all, it was free!
