Yeah, it was on an episode of the Simpsons. Lisa found it n an Archaeological dig. Homer charged people to see it in his garage. Eventually it turned out to be a marketing ploy for a shopping mall.

And all the jerks in Springfield though theworld was coming to an end. Quite an apt analogy really.

At work one day actually. I was working in a job I hated because my finacial situation was at an all time low.

As I was sitting at my desk feeling pretty depressed about the whole situation (and quite lonely because the people I worked with were not very nice) I felt someone put their hands on my shoulders and suddenly I was looking at myself from behind. Standing behind me, giving me energy/love whatever you want to call it was an angel with huuuge wings.

That lifted me immensly and for the next two weeks I had a better time at that job than i had ever had....then I got fired, which to be honest was a good thing lol.

Angels look the way you want them to look like so you don't get scared by them. You cannot see how they really look like because human eyes can't look at them. They are a pure light so pure that you would go blind looking at them. It's a form of pure energy or something. That's what I heard from many different sources.

Angels are not nuclear bombs, so you can't look at them -- they are living entities, imortal maybe, but not without shape or physical apearance, they are and I think those theories how you can not see them is just not true, so as for the god, we have explicit verses in bible where god can be comunicated with and so for his angels, too.
I am sure these people here don't lie and they are of perfect mental health because angels do exist, so as god.

I don't know if I have ever seen one, but I am fairly sure I have been protected by them. That I have been comforted by them.

Once I had a car accident and was hit in the driver door pretty hard. The door caved into my seat, which caved into my emergency brake(in the middle). I remember looking up and meeting eyes with the woman who was about to hit me. I remember thinking "this is going to hurt!". I felt the impact on my hip and head. Then I was sitting in the passenger seat as if I had been riding there. I am not sure how I go there, as I was in a normal passenger position. I was not at all hurt, and neither was the woman that hit me

One time an elderly man walked up to me and handed me a little pin of an angel. Not sure if he was one, but it was a nice warm gesture. Probably just a nice old man

When my twins were born, one of them was not alive. The peace I had, the pure PEACE was amazing. I knew he would be ok, that things were going to happen as they were planned. It was not an easy time, but the peace never left me.

So, they are around. I may just not be privy to seeing them

I don't think it's faith that lets people see them, for when your faith is strong you haven't the need to see them. The thick-headed ones like myself sometimes need to physically bump into them to take notice. Just a theory. There are days when I wish I didn't require the proof to believe. I think those who do believe without needing their proof have more strength. Again, just a thought.

I know of someone who claims they saw a fallen angel and that angel was not very happy. This someone told me it was a blessing to see the evil so as to be more aware of it's presence to not be as affected by it and to avoid the danger I suppose.

I sometimes wondered if someone in a waiting room was an angel sent to give me a message when I was depressed. A total stranger suddenly spoke to me and told me things would get better etc. etc. I don't know, maybe this person was just referring to getting out of the waiting line.

angels don't excist (not in the way the bible indoctrinates anyway). however there are "light" entities which fulfill tasks as ethereal guides. and in order for the simple minds of man they often choose to use angelic/biblical references so that christians can comprehend and their dreams of the afterlife stay intact.

btw i been dead 2 weeks ago on a friday night. so i know what i'm talking about. and trust me, there is no goddamn tunnel with a light at the end. there is no hell nor is there heaven. there is just a plain of existance where bright lighted entities roam. you can reach a similar plain of existance through meditation as well when you have an OBE, cept you'll run into shadowy/dark entities as well. when you're dead you can go even a plain higher where the actual source is.

and no, looking at these entities does NOT make you blind. you're not using your regular eyes to look at em. you don't even HAVE your physical body to begin with. their just energy with no shapes, but you can make them have shapes if you feel more at ease with that.

That's what I said. HUMAN eyes can't see them unless they take another form than what they really are. Also, call them angel or whatever you want, it is still what it is.

Also, those who thinks that angels have wings, well they don't have wings. Wings are there probably just to represent angels to make the difference between them and other entities. Of course you might see them with wings when you see angels but again, they take a specific form to make sure you don't get scared or even to make it so you do not even notice it's an angel. So they might look like anything that makes you feel secure.

Just because you didnt get there dont mean it dont exist, there are many levels of existance.

I have encountered what I believe to have been an angel.
I cannot recall what age I was exactly (around 4 or 5) My mother was working in a law office about 3 to 5 blocks from where my family was living at the time. My father had yelled at me that day for something that I didn't do which really upset me. I left and started walking to my moms workplace. I made it all the way to the front of the building when a car pulled up (an old early 80's station wagon). The man inside the car started asking me questions and seemed to really want me to get into the car. He said "I have a cabin we can go to and I can make you some hot coca and I can call your mom and let her know that you are safe."
I don't know why but I had a really bad gut feeling about the man and I kept my distance from the car. Then out of nowhere a man came out of the building and called me by my name I turned and he said that I shouldn't be there. He said some other things that I can't really recall clearly.
The man that came out of the building seemed to really disturb the man in the car because as I recall he wasted no time getting away.
After the man in the car left the fellow that came out of the building told me to walk home and that I would be safe all the way there. I did and I didn't see a single soul all the way home.
I told my mother about what happened after she had gotten home and she said that there was only one person in the office at the time other than her and he didn't set one foot outside all day. I described the man that came out of the building and she said that she didn't know anyone who could possibly fit the description.
I assume that due to the evidence of the events there is no explanation other than it had to be an angel.

Well me and my brother are not religious at all but when my brother came back after he passed away, he said he saw that tunnel and a light and that he felt so great cuz he had no more pain and all.... until a moron brought him back to life.

I was sad when he said that. It means that he prefered to be dead than being with us. I thought that he was being selfish.

If he felt great and had no pain, then maybe he saw more hope in that then having to live here with the pains of growing older. It may have been self-motivated, but I think he also had the hope and promise everyone (yourself included) will someday feel what that's like. Just a thought. I'd recommend knowing before that day where you'll go though.

it was a beach where caretta carettas lay eggs, so any lightsource around the region was prohibited. I had just arrived that day so I didn't know the place, but I had to reach to a treehouse camp inlands to contact some friends. I left my bags at the beachouse, a hut where they have tea, some toast and beer only. imagine a place where there are no roads, banks, police station or hospital, just a beach settelment. As far as I remember there were 2 phone lines total.

so it was around 1100 hours, I decided to leave the beachouse and head for the camp. as I was told I had to travel about a kilometer in the beach and when I come across a river I had to head inlands and proceed through the pathway in a jungle to the treehouse camps. I was also told that it would be too dark and using a flashlight would be useful. but I didnt have one and I said, what the hell so I started to walk along the beach and then came across the river then looked for a pathway around found an opening and walked through.

it was total darkness, there was no moon. (now I know the place, I was in a tunnel surrounded by jungle, even above there were branches of trees) I was just walking and thought if I hit something I would change my direction to the opening and make my way out. after a minute or so I suddenly stepped into water, and got distracted and lost the sense of direction. everywhere I look there was just darkness. I paused there tried to listen the surrounding, there was only the sound of gently flowing water. It was a great feeling,everything was paused just the sound of water in the darkness. after pretending to be a bush in the jungle for a while. I remembered that human eye can adapt to extreme low light conditions in about 20 minutes, so I decided to wait for a couple of more minutes but it was totally nice being there in the middle of the nature, by knowing a few hundred meter away the caretta careattas are laying their eggs, the trees, sound of water, even if I didnt see anything it was nice.

then suddenly I heard something from my back and a white thing passed from my right with speed, and it disappeared quickly. it was very very dim so I am guessing it was white. I had no other choice but to listen, so I hoped it was something friendly and I continued to listen. then it came back circled around me then I identified the breathing sound, it was a dog and from its breathing style I could tell he was being friendly, after circling around me he went off to the same direciton again, I understood that he obviously was trying to show me the way. he was faster then me ofcourse and he never stopped or slowed down, he was always moving, but as I said I was only seeing a very very dim whiteness and having hard time tracking its movement and hearing a breathing noise. several times he came back for me and circled around and went to the same direction which I followed him. after a while I was able to distinguish the lights of the treehouse and came to an opening and the ground was visible though I never ever saw a dog there again.

the other day when I was passing through the same path but in daylight, I noticed that where the pathway crosses the water (where I stepped into the water) was a junction which there was another path to the hills where the old archeological remainings were and it was pretty dangerous because some cliffs were included, and I could possibly take that one because I really didnt know the attitude of the camp.

was he an angel?, yes and no; he was just another being of the nature, a dog, which saw me helpless and helped me. and by definition this fits to the image of an angel at least for me.

another one was a white owl, I was in the campus. it was about 0300 am, I was walking and saw this white owl on a tree near the pavement, we had 3 meters between us. I remembered the white dog from above and I stared at this owl, and he stared at me. I sat down on the pavement, he didn't fly away. so after a minute of staring to eachother I stood up and continued to walk. nothing special about this one. since it was white and unusual to see one around and in close proximity, it draw my attention.

The Bible says "some have entertained angels unawares"...so maybe I have. But nothing I could say with 100% surety. Though I have felt what I think to be their guiding, nudging, protecting many times.

My family are Atheist, but my mom has seen something that definitly fits the discription of Angel.

It was a man, shoulder length hair, blonde, good looking, my mom thought his name was Gabriel but a psychic later told her it was Emanuel and drew a picture of him. (I can scan it if you like)

I have had some experiences my self, the first one I had was in Greece while I was on vacation there with my family, I drank quite a bit, I was completely drunk.

I was quite sad, I needed someone I could love with me, I wanted to see my g/f (at the time) in Canada instead of being here in Greece, I was fairly depressed, later I was so drunk I sat down on a sidewalk of a busy mainstreet, I didn't know where my family was, I was lost, I was gonna spend the night there until I sobered up, then, something amazing happened, 2 BEAUTIFUL people came, a couple, they both had dark hair, they helped me up, held my hands and even offered me to stay at their place for the night if I couldn't find my family, but they led me straight to my parents, they probably weren't angels, but they were SO wonderful, I never felt so much love and compassion in my LIFE.

Another time I was laying in bed, I was awake still, and then I saw a figure coming through the door, it startled me a bit, but I wasn't scared at all, it was not very clear but I definitly got feminine vibes from it, it was orange and very clear looking, I could see through it...

I never saw anything like it anymore, in 2002 I broke up with my Canadian g/f and I was severely depressed, I completely changed, I was always a light-hearted happy kid, bit after that I became more morbid and goth, I spend more time up at night than I spend at day time (I.E. I slept during the day).

I lost all my faith I had in God and I turned to the darker forces and admired the darker figures of our history, and frankly, I never felt stronger.
