Hours after authorities began searching for a 50-year-old man police said was kidnapped from his oceanfront home, the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office reported finding a BMW stolen from his house and a body near the vehicle.
Now, investigators are tracking multiple suspects in connection with the kidnapping of Atre — who, according to his LinkedIn profile, was the owner of AtreNet, a web design company that caters to Silicon Valley corporate businesses.
The family of Erin Valenti stopped its search on Saturday night, shortly after police reported that a body was found in South San Jose’s Almaden Valley, the location where the 33-year-old tech entrepreneur went missing after a series of bewildering phone calls during an apparent mental health episode.
On Saturday, relatives had continued their frantic search for Valenti, who they said apparently suffered a manic episode early in the week, telling them in a string of bizarre phone calls that “it’s all a game, it’s a thought experiment, we’re in the Matrix.”
Her husband said she had no history of mental illness.
Valenti was founder and CEO of Tinker Ventures, an application design and development company, where she managed a global team of 120 employees in their Salt Lake City and Pakistan offices. Prior to forming Tinker, she was the Head of Product Development for Overstock.com, where she oversaw a team of 250 engineers.
... graduated Summa Cum Laude from Georgetown University with a degree in business administration...
Valenti also worked as an investment professional for Summit Partners, a venture capital and private equity fund in Palo Alto, California and as a financial analyst for Bonaventure Realty Group, LLC in Washington DC.
According to her LinkedIn page, Valenti was a volunteer for Not for Sale, described as an “advocate for anti-human trafficking initiatives. Participated in humanitarian mission to Uganda 2008.”
She also was a volunteer in economic empowerment for the International Rescue Committee. She “participated in mentoring refugee entrepreneurs.”
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) has become the latest humanitarian organisation pitched in the spotlight following the revelations that Britain’s Oxfam failed to report a former country manager for illegally using prostitutes in Haiti.
Data collected by the Daily Mail showed that Save the Children, the London-based NGO which promotes children’s rights across the world, were made aware of 176 incidents in three years involving potential abuse of children by its staff. The newspaper said only a fraction of these incidents were reported to police.
Zeid’s arrogance has also irritated a number of Member States, using his position for posturing and being critical of a number of world leaders – not least of which has been President Trump – and he has become an embarrassment to Secretary-General Guterres (if he was not already one) and an embarrassment to the King of Jordan.
Unsatisfied with Kompass then being cleared of any wrongdoing by an official investigation, Zeid set out to find another reason to have him investigated – and in doing so, sparked the biggest sexual abuse scandal the UN has had to face in many years.
When presented with evidence of the ongoing sexual abuse of children in the Central African Republic, Zeid’s priority was not to stop it, or to attend to the welfare of the victims; it was to use it as the excuse to have Kompass investigated again, for “leaking confidential information”.

SWD, Earthquake is interesting... what if it's not only the epicentre of a man made earthquake but also at the epicenter of DUMB tunnels network? NK? IRAN? California?
Although there have been whispers for a while that Giani had lost Francis’s favor and might not be long for this world, most longtime Vatican-watchers were still caught off guard Monday because for years he’s been seen as the J. Edgar Hoover of the place, the top cop who simply had too much dirt on too many people to ever be fired.
Fr. Vellankal was driving the archbishop and another Indian priest, Fr. Joseph Parekkatt, to Clearlake in California, when the tragedy took place. Their car was hit by a semi-truck in Colusa County.
On September 17, Archbishop Jala left Shillong for Rome, where along with other Indian bishops he was on an “ad limina visit”, that heads of dioceses are required to make every 5 years or so to report on the state of their jurisdiction. He was among 44 Indian bishops who met Pope Francis as a group on September 26.
A Shillong Archdiocesan source said the archbishop arrived in Washington DC on September 30 to attend a meeting of the International Commission on English in the Liturgy (ICEL) in New York. He left for California on October 6 to meet some of his priest friends.

Snake haters, read up on what Benjamin Franklin said of the Rattlesnake as representative of the Americans. The same is true of the bite that 8ch inflicted upon the world with simply using freedom of speech to speak truth into the darkness that democracy was dying in.
