Yes. In November, Thanksgiving weekend. (Extra food, family collected safely in one place, weather discourages riots.)
I don't see it happening over Christmas, and New Year's eve will be mid-week and will have too many people out in crowds.

If we are looking for a long weekend in the cold we need a Friday or Monday holiday. In 2020 it will be MLK or Washington's B-Day; Mon Jan 20, or Mon Feb 17

ETA: Congressrats also at home and villains easier to arrest when isolated.

Thanks Rel. You are right. So many synchronizes surrounding this date for me. But I wonder if people paid more conscious attention to their on life if they would see the synchronicities Not related to the date but to everyday life.

Wargame. Used by all echelons of the military in various ways -- the "tabletop" mentioned in which participants meet in regular facilities and work through contingencies (who do I contact, work with, etc.), command post exercise, in which some headquarters may actually deploy to the field and do the same as the tabletop while exercising actual C4I networks ("does this stuff actually work?"), and full blown troop deployments (all of the above, now let's add in the confusion of moving tactical units and, after maneuver is completed, decide who "won").
