I have friends in TN near Ft Campbell KY that have been without power due to super high winds wiping trees down like breaking matchsticks over a wide area. 36 hours and counting. Sorry to hear so many without electricity. God speed the repairs and protect those with needs.

QoS, re 7 drops with "No Deals", I decided to examine Deltas between post numbers and got interesting results:

Funny this is discussed in here today as I just accidentally let myself rant yesterday about the news story that hit every outlet at once about the Always pads (yes, menstrual talk) dropping the Venus symbol to be more inclusive of transgenders with periods.

Hey, about those wildfires in California. I read something about that earlier where they told PG&E's side of it a bit. Apparently what has happened is the overlords in Sacramento regulated what PG&E can charge customers (already about twice what everyone else in the country pays) and then sorta coerced them into pumping BILLIONS of dollars annually into green energy initiatives. 2.2 Billion annually into things like windmills and electric car subsidies.

The result is, in order to remain profitable, PG&E was cutting corners on updating outdated infrastructure. Their equipment is crap essentially and it's a direct result of the leaders in California not knowing how to do their jobs.

If you’re about to be called into a grand jury, your stance on things either solidify and dig in, or, you try to minimize risk to yourself.

Interesting bit with those street addresses in the People's Republic. Bing maps and openstreetmap can't find numbered buildings, or even the streets. Caitian Road is real and I located it by scanning the map. Wonder if one has to enter the name in Cantonese for the websites to find it.
