The most telling comment he made was when he was asked if he had told Pelosi they were going in. He said NO, I didnt want to lose anyone. (not a direct quote) but he said it twice.

Sounded like he didnt trust to not keep her mouth shut about it, or she might let some of the bad guys know an attack was coming.

CoramDeo, that Waverley Rd address is in Small Heath area of Birmingham, next to Sparkbrook. A number of terrorist arrests from residents of that area over the years. It's a simple, low value 2 storey town house on the edge of a park. No sign of any other businesses on that street (apart from Bismillah school of motoring 20 odd houses away).

It seems like a pretty common name.

I ran across a few stories about a Pakistani national who Honor killed his daughter form a few years back in the UK, so that might be why it sounds familiar.

What I find odd is that CIA motors appears to be the only business venture this particular Iftikar Ahmed ahs been involved with. There are other officers listed, and they are also in the car import-export business, but Iftikar seems to appear, then vanish from the scene.

I thought there was some irony seing a vehicle painted with CIA motors running around in an area that has CIA fingerprints all over it.

I think one of the reporters at the Daily Caller did a good series tracking the connections of the Awans. I know Power Line blog linked to all of them. I'm not sure if you can do a way-back search to bring that series up, but yes, if memory serves, the Awans did have a car dealership of some sort. There was also some sort of house thing going on too.
