No.. it'd be cool to go though. Are they planning on announcing any new games? Im a huge fan of starcraft 2. Would love to see a 3rd title.

I seen a few people complain that after blizzard joined activision their microtransactions had gotten worse. I also like hearthstone alot, but it's pretty tough to not spend alot of money to keep up with content.

Anyway, have a good time

I can't say what we are or aren't releasing until after BC though I can point you to one of our official social media accounts for questions like that.

Like everything in life their are multiple sides to every story all I know is people are working really hard to deliver the most epic BC ever.

I basically quit hearthstone because it's impossible to play without spending money.

Yea its a bummer because the few friends i got to try hearthstone all quit because there is a giant paywall for newcomers. At least, to have fun and not just play one boring aggressive deck for monthes.

Blizzard was releasing free single player expansions that gave free packs, but after activision they stopped doing that. Blizzard releases tons of content each year so if you really want to keep up on the game it is about $100-$200 per year.

I think they will lose people in the long run as veterans move on to other games and new comers are too overwhelmed with payed content.

But do you want to play games on your crappy phone or your gaming rig?

Hard to believe that the leadership is so out of touch.

Not interested in getting into a discussion like this because that isn't what this thread was about though I will say hopefully if you choose to play Immortal you will be pleasantly surprised.

That being said lemme know if you are goign to BC . =)

Not going to Blizzcon but I am holding out hope that a new, old school style, Warcraft, single player RTS will happen.

I read something a few months ago, probably a Tweet from one of the tech rumor mills - that suggested such a thing could be in the works.

If so - then I default to the "Shut up and take my money" meme.

After content moves to wild it should have a 90% reduction in cost if not automatically given.

90% is alot to hope for but yea i agree. New players get bored because ALL content is expensive. I guess there is alot of veterans who pour alot of money into this game because there has never been a serious sale in hearthstone history.

Have you played the newish magic the gathering game? That seems to be getting popular.

Will Chinese government officials be at Blizzcon to make sure noone says anything the propaganda minsitry has not allowed? Will this years "red shirt guy" be deported to a communist prison?

Feel free to contact one of our official Social Media accounts with your concerns or questions around that whole topic.

I'm not going to get involved in online discussions around it as all I wanted with this thread was to know if any friends from ATS were planning on attending.

I understand you can't speak about it because you work for the company, but i am no longer a fan of the company.

Blizzard had to choose between what was right and money. They chose money.

I'll never give blizzard a dime.

All your choices and it's not my place to try and convince you otherwise.

People are working hard to make this the best Blizzcon we can. That is where our focus is regardless of what Cancel Culture thinks they know or understand.

I understand you're just trying to make a dope Blizzcon, but this isn't a Cancel culture issue. When has cancel culture got angry and demanded a company be held accountable for bending over backwards to help a country supress free speech?

China getting American companys to supress free speech has nothing to do with Cancel Culture. It's an ongoing and escalating issue involving many American companies, not just Blizzard.

This is a moral issue and nothing to do with the past PC / political attempts to get opposing people or shows "canceled".

Blame your greedy unethical executives at the top, not Cancel Culture.

Having said that, blizzard is still a good gaming company and I think they can redeem themselves in the future.
