The swastika had apparently been present in several human cultures and religions (over in Asia) until certain European movements apparently misappropriated it and it became a symbol of bad luck, misfortune and death.

Are there any conspiracy theories about the swastika and/or the use of the symbol?

None that I'm personally aware of. The nazi's were heavy into some pretty out they're things like the nazi bell, their relic hunting and idol gathering, human experimentation all sorts of terrible things. I also like ancient Indian mysticism it's a wealth of interesting theories.

Up until 1930's, globally it had been a symbol of fortune, good luck, and a representation of the four elements/seasons throughout cultures all over the globe. The very people that adopted it for evil, received their Karma for their bastardization of this ancient symbol.

Use it for bad, and it will bring bad fortune to that party. But as a symbol for good, which is its historical origins (older than the Christian cross) and it can be a good fortune symbol.

Maybe thats the conspiracy?? Its all over government buildings and religious temples in Asia such as Korea, Bangladesh, India, Thailand, Iran, Japan etc...

In Asia, which represent over half of the human Earth population, they have respect for it. I bet all Asians are NAZIS though

Not really.

In my Tribe (Cherokee) it represents life or good luck.

Hitler appropriated it as a good luck symbol for his ideology.

In his case, it represented a tie to Aryan/Germanic history, which he needed.

In Mein Kampf, Hitler described the Nazis' new flag: "In red we see the social idea of the movement, in white the nationalistic idea, in the swastika the mission of the struggle for the victory of the Aryan man, and, by the same token, the victory of the idea of creative work, which as such always has been and always will be anti-Semitic."

So cultural appropriation and nothing more.

Which is too bad... it's a primary symbol that has been used by many civilizations.

Learn the History of the Swastika

A better conspiracy theory would be to ask exactly why it is used in so many completely unrelated cultures...

Agreed, unrelated; unless Germans have other Vedic parallels.

Didn't he invert its direction?

It appears TPTB likewise inverted his brown eyes to blue.

Admittedly I was first taught that the swastika a German symbol.. I was 5 forgive me. But later I learned it was peaceful.
The peaceful:

The swastika or sauwastika (as a character, 卐 or 卍, respectively) is a geometrical figure and an ancient religious icon in the cultures of Eurasia. Swastik is used as a symbol of divinity and spirituality in Indian religions.[1][2][3][4] In the Western world, it was a symbol of auspiciousness and good luck until the 1930s, when it became a feature of Nazi symbolism as an emblem of Aryan identity. As a result of World War II and the Holocaust, most people in the Western World associate it with Nazism and antisemitism.

en.m.wikipedia.org...

Then Hitler rolls along and poofisschnichel! Reversed symbol.

My post is ALL INCLUSIVE.

Edit: so you're not confused, much much respect to you Lumenari.. your post is spot on🤗

The Cherokee use the sign both ways interchangeably, as do other cultures.

I have read that Hitler inverted it to change the meaning from "life" to "death".

Which he may have done if he didn't do his homework...

Or perhaps he did because it inverted the Aryan sign, which is only used one way.

Either way... evil bastard and too bad that he took one of the few intercultural signs in the world and screwed it all up.

ETA... I put on warpaint just for you.

If I don't get a meme out of it I'm going to be... cross.

There are many threads discussing this beloved ancient symbol.
The conspiracy is how the old-new order (post WW2) corrupted the symbol to the minds of the world as something bad.

My back tattoo of the swastika with four dots will soon have Vishnu or Shiva kind of holding it up in one of their hands. I am leaning more towards Vishnu though.

There are a bunch of conspiracies about people supposedly hiding secret swastika in logos or in arcitecture. In order to hide their hide affiliation in plain sight, or to trick people into supporting the nazi. But I think that most of them are fake and come from places like 4chan, or are paranoid liberals and SJW trying to cause trouble for people that they hate.

The swastika shape has been used in most cultures at one time, or another. It's also been used a trademarks and commercial symbols and in art.

Hitler just took a known design and used it. You won't see much use of the swastika nowadays as it has been taken to represent Nazi and fascist ideas, especially in the West. It's now recognised as a symbol of hate.

As a symbol it's been used throughout the world historically. Same as the three legged version called the triskelion. Both versions were used by various pagan belief systems in Europe.

As others have said it's featured in pretty much all cultures at some point.

Yes the biggest CT of them all, its a positive symbol just like the ok sign the fact is we live in a world where they flip the truth to stop us finding out how powerful we can be be. Swastika symbol means, to be good, Isis isn't a terrorist group, she's the great mother and loves you, someone who's aids is a help, the scarab/cancer means immortality, the OK mudra is to promote good speech niot fascism etc etc
We are all at war.
It's a battle for our minds
Edit. None of these archetypal things have changed meaning, our minds are being tricked.

No conspiracy. It's not Nazi in origin, but found in petroglyphs, paintings, textiles of 1,000's of years old by Native Americans and Early Hebrews among others.

The swastika was considered a spiritual/good luck symbol...thousands of years back. It does not have Germanic-Hitler-Naxi origins. At all.

An anceint symbol for spaceships, giant wheels of death an flame, and maybe also giant eyes that have eyes for days? Or was that something else?

Apparently in Norse, it was associated with Thor or even his hammer too.

Swastika is a balanced symbol.

Used by civilizations way before the nazis.

In my books, the nazis ruined it, in today's sense.
