"Candidate with active Top Secret Clearance."

This is a way to force Military enlistments. Companies are gobbelling up Military contract jobs, but they require Security Clearances. These companies Refuse to pay for the clearances, so they are asking prospective employees to already have the clearance.

Now the only way to get these clearances is to join the military, survive long enough to get a clearance and then fulfill your enlistment time frame plus the stop loss time frame plus any other "just in case" clauses, and then get out with a General or better discharge.

Now those of us who served in previous war time or peace time service periods, who successfully completed our obligations, Served Honorably, Held Top Secret ESI Clearance or worked for DOD, Government Service Prior to 9/11 and our clearnces that we held has expired, while more qualified for these positions than most are not considered because the refusal to pay for the clearance recert.

I know this first hand and from friends and aquaintances who also are being discriminated against because of the lack of current Active Clearances even if we have held clearances in the past.
